  1. I got "Free" health care when I broke my leg in the former republic of Yugoslavia, Apart from the language problem and the inconvenience of no pain killers (so they reset my leg without OUCH!) it wasn't too bad. Well no TV, no aircon or heating - but then no windows. The of course was the minor inconvenience of being quarantined for 2 weeks in a UK hospital when I got back while they analysed the 6 viral infections I had picked up! Apart from that though
  2. That's the best idea - failing that you probably won't notice any difference with it off. Besides we all have water cooling in the UK at the moment
  3. I was so close Yes your diff will get hotter That cover is an air scoop thing that pulls air over the fins - Mind you I've seen several Zeds without them! Do you track?
  4. Carl runs ITB's on his VQ35DE engined grass track car Can put you in touch if you want more info.
  5. Well my Photobucket account has gone pair shaped but don't worry folks that won't stop me boring you even more with another nights antics in the ZedShed MuuHaaaaaaaa So here it is with the assistance of imgur (thanks Clown) So this is where we left it did a bit of sanding - looking for the right shape Not happy yet!! Arch extensions are coming together though more filler While I waited for the filler to dry I got to play on a monster machine At least it has an engine!!!! anyway more sanding better but not right yet Wheel arches after second coat fixed the gap in the bumper Then I read the comprehensive instructions that came with the side skirts, I then looked at the fitting kit that accompanies them - Cool thats that done and they have been discarded (sorry Tarmac) Gonna go my own way with these as well so prepped the side skirt put some tiger seal on and joined them together I can confirm they are a good fit - I used self tappers to hold them while they dry. Few pics more on these tomorrow. bit more filling now it's starting to look better Last job tonight was to fit the driver's side arch extension That's all folks ...........................
  6. Nice one all round Neil - you moving to America? doubt I'm that lucky!
  7. Wonder how much he would fetch? not much
  8. Be careful or you will catch a clout from my handbag at the next meet Bob's the one that wears gloves really!!!
  9. Whip it out sand blast or wire brush coat of paint stick it back in simples.
  10. Back at it again Left the bumper drying last night so started here tonight Not sure if I should leave these in ??? So mostly a good fit until we get to here Anyway that can be sorted so test fit time Happy so far Zorst clears (may need to extend them a bit though) Onto the side skirts - great fit I must say Like the line as well Then modified this like this and stuck it here Then I started on the lines on the rear bumper- I have to modify it to fit as this kit is for a JDM rear and I don't have one Trimmed it down a bit first coat of filler see how that dries tonight and sand it back tomorrow. That's all folks ..................................
  11. Well I do tend to be working on my Zed's out of normal working hours, so he does get in a few shots but I took this at 9:15AM just for you G
  12. Well the bag of bits with it says ings so it should be an ings, however it was thought to be an Espirit when I went to see it - which is a copy of the ings - So put it another way I have no idea But it looks cool
  13. Good memory. This came up at the right price and the top secret should be showing up on another members Zed soon
  14. Sup - I thought I would take the opportunity - Given that it seems to be raining everywhere -to utilise this captive audience and bore you some more with my Zed antics Due to a slight delay in the engine department I have started on the bodywork SO first thing to try out is the new rear end My rear end the to be rear end Bumper off line it up with a few small marker holes draw some lines Get brave mark the removed bit up Line that up on the new bumper Marked out Cut and taped more tape Inside looks like add some fibre glass wait for it to dry and the outside looks like Marked up for some holes so I can still get to the original bumper mounting bolts drilled those and joined the two bits together the inside looks like this I will add some fibre glass in here to make it a good strong join. Then this turned up for a bit of attention Just a rounded bolt on the rear spoiler - easy fix with a drill That's all folks ...........................
  15. I managed to catch a few minutes between showers to polish out the overspray and finish this - It's far from perfect and I have found some more dents now its shiny but it will do until I re-spray the car - It needs a lot of work the front bumper was hit (hard) on a speed bump and the bonnet is covered in stone chips! Anyway the pics enjoy or not Autobots!! Let's roll.....................
  16. I have even have a video of it! Just didnt last very long before I had to take it all apart again! I ran an SC without FRS - you can tune round it but it's better to have it - also the fuel rails hold more fuel mine say 500% more so no chance of a lean burn when demand suddenly increases - hard acceleration or NOS firing for example My FRS pipe went in easy - but the fuel tank was out
  17. Looking good mate Your gonna be finished before me though Keep it coming mate

    piggyback ecu

Hello and As Sam has said bit more info. I have a UTEC TurboXS piggy back if you want it came out of my SC Zed when I went to a Haltech. Its the cheapest option if you can find some one to tune it - If not uprev may be the next cheapest way to go then you get into big bucks for piggy back ECU's!
  20. What CATS have you got? they can smell bad when the start to go. EDIT: Could be the zorst touching something and melting it - rubber mount maybe - if it only started after the new zorst???
