+1 on what Darren said. 2000 is quite gentle if used carefully, have you got a DA polisher? Great for smoothing it out after!

Initial filler was ripped back with 120 then onto 240 all dry sanded Machine sanded with 320 before first primer coat. More filling to do yet then another 320 - 400 wet sand before the next coat of HB primer - if that looks good then 600/800 sand before first colour coat. Not 100% sure what paint system I'll be using yet though!

Hi all - The rain has meant the wife has had no objections to me spending all weekend in the ZedShed I'm still trying to get the line right behind the wheel arch - It's not there yet! Between filler coats I had another go at the side skirts these are the standard mounts They seem slightly to long on my car and I came up with a plan (so cunning you could put a tale on it and call it a weasel) I cut them in half and drilled more holes in them Clever don't ya think? This means I now have 4 mounts on each side of just the right length I got radical with the blend line - more filler!!! Now I'm happy Drivers side wheel arch is now blended in more sanding on the back Then I took the bumper off and dropped to a finer wet and dry paper After that I thought I could just squeeze in the first coat of primer tonight so it will be dry for tomorrow night. That's all folks ..............................

Hi Its in Ferndown in (not so sunny at the moment) Dorset although Poole does have it's own micro climate due to the shape of the harbour??!! The Zedshed was named due to it being my garage and my large collection of Zeds at the time A 300XZ, a 260Z and a 350Z and its ability to draw in members from accross the UK as can bee seen in the first pic here viewtopic.php?f=21&t=54685&start=0 I now just have 2 350Z's one SC currently undergoing a very long build viewtopic.php?f=176&t=54567 and an NA Zed currently at this point viewtopic.php?f=176&t=59153 Since its formation we have accommodated several other members for just a social chat, the swapping of parts or assistance in adding/removing mods or a simple service. I would point out to anyone that doesn't know me or the Zedshed it is not A BUSSINESS but we are happy to help anyone that makes the journey - you even get a sticker The Zedshed pretty much has 2 resident errrrr muppets??? Myself and Bob (Buster) Bob is responsible for all **** ups in or around the Zedshed. NB we like you more if you bring biccys

We had another visitor to the ZedShed yesterday NathWraith dropped in after a mere 3.5 hour trip down The usually coffee was supplied Is the ZedShed shrinking or is Nath on the tall side???? So Buster (who arranged all this) then pulled the Ginger Ninja into the ZedShed Nothing unusual in that - until he pulled out again!!! Bring in Nath's Zed - now I start to get confused about here 30 minutes later Bob's is back in No hang on its Nath's or is it ??? It's Ok it's Nath's Sorry Bob don't seem to have a pic of yours "after" the event.......................... Always fun round here!!!!!
