I Not sure if I'm understanding you use of "solid" but I think that's a yes Yep as in not a metallic / pearlescent or anything. My rosso red has a solid red basecoat, but the clear coat has a purple tint in it. Yep it's a flat green and I'm going to be using a 1k clear coat nothing fancy just loud

Dam that's the long weekend over Got a few more bits done today Started on this took the top wing off and sanded it down gave that and the end plates some paint - took the pic last thing it's not very good and it's dusty will look better when it finished! did these but the one will have to be re-done a the wing flipped the paper it was on over spent the rest of the day playing with the side skirts and had a few visitors After That's all folks ..................................

More visitors at the ZedShed Humpy dropped in today to have his ICE upgraded - Bob soon had him sorted and it sounded great - of course he came bearing biccys and doughnuts Good to see you mate We even got him to help push my car out of the ZedShed so I could get on with this Got that sanded down and coat of primer then after a rub down with 800 Ready for some colour This is my practice piece as it's not a hard shape to sand back and start again if it all goes horribly wrong! I see what everyone means now about getting a good colour match - My Zed is Gun Metal at the moment and I gave the code to the paint shop F0192 - Dunno what you think but I thought it would have been errr - well see for yourself - After the first coat O yes she gonna be LOUD!!! anyway I gave her a few more coats and it is now to here Not a bad reflection O and the other side looks like That's all folks .............................................

Looks like a great project, good luck with it Make sure you get lots of pics of anything and everything you do with her.
