Some interesting comments on this thread I just thought I'd throw in a thought I shared with @Wasso on the phone just before the launch - If this Car with a mannequin in a space suit in the drivers seat is still floating around for the next few hundred million years and the earth gets destroyed without a trace, I'd just like to see some other intelligent life form that has just discovered space travel to be sending there first "manned" (aliened?) mission to space and have a red roadster float by with some guy in it - Now that would be amusing. a real WTF moment On that possibility alone it was worth doing (given that they had to have some payload to test the rocket with) That's my current input I will now leave the intellectual banter to you lot again

Watched it all live - brilliant The two boosters landing was just epic, third one missed the autonomous landing barge though still amazing and we now have a car in space

I must say I'v always thought I should have a phenolic spacer but just never got round to it Looks like your close to test fit the mate? At least the spacers won't take as long to cut out

OK I've been looking at cars on eBay, auto-trader and even FB and nothing - in my budget - floats my boat enough to trade in the 370 at the moment so I'm going to keep her for now and if nothing changes I'll probably put her in for a respray (colour TBC) at the end of the year when the weather goes all British again. May even add a few more mods for fun just to keep the Zeditis at bay In the meantime the Radical is running again Just a few cosmetic bits to do and she is ready for track season The Mini - Still undecided finish or sell not sure yet, cross that bridge a bit later in the year. I have a small queue of people wanting to "visit" the ZedShed II starting with the LS Zed, be nice to see her again especially as I always have to test drive her after I do anything - just to be sure there are no issues, Like I said to Wasso after fitting the air freshener "you need to be sure it's secure" I reserve the right to change my mind without notice at any time.

I thought they were on some later 2005 models if you got lucky but should be on anything 2006 or later unless you were really unlucky and got old stock - I'm sure @ZMANALEX would know the dates better than most

I'd save any wasted time the standard handbrake is really not that good to start with and unless you put a lot of effort in I think you would find it won't last long enough between maintenance requirements. BUT - I haven't used one for drifting only for parking and holding the car on a hill - and it aint that good for those jobs

I agree, and now I've seen 2 or 3 pickup versions the roof is wrong - could be changed though Still make a nice Rally car out of a 350 though Currently leaning towards keeping the 370 but don't have to make any rush decisions so still thinking about what to do. Daily is a Ford Transit Custom - Not a bad van, bit big for parking sometimes but other wise does everything I need
