OK Then the push is on Mid August is now the target date Gives me a month I'll make some calls and see how likley that is and update! Any news? Do you think it'll be ready? It'd be great if we could get a few Zeds together for a track day Engine is still not back Still going to try and get it ready but I need my engine to move forwards!

Congrats Looks very clean

It was with heavy heart we waved goodbye to Wasso in his stunning example of an azure 350z at the end of his tour. We spent the last day together on "The Bitch" after much drinking of coffee and Wasso saying Hmmm (Buster and I have learnt the "MMmmmmmmmmmm" is good "Hmmmm" is bad ) followed by some tests on smaller parts we decided that a 6 step process was the way ahead - 1. Wet Sand 1200 2. Wet cut with some rather cool 3000 grade cutting pads 3. G3 Cutting compound with the rotary 4. Medium compound (Ian help me out can't remember this one) using the DA 5. Ultra fine compound again with the DA 6. Wax we only fully completed 3 panels but the results are superb even Wasso managed an "Mmmmmmmmm" Couple of pics for your enjoyment - Great to see you again Wasso, no idea how you managed the hours you spent on all those cars after those late nights! Looking forwards to your next tour already O and you know you said you had everything? well .................................. No you didn't

Think I have enough projects on at the moment

Well I'll try and do a few notes and post them up as I go - not really big on build threads The plans, Got a few Ideas but need to pass them by the daughter first as it's her car - Thinking complete strip clean and weld her up with new panels where required, de-seamed maybe a body kit (subject to insurance) clean and sort the engine - including a conversion to unleaded. Paint it up and see how it looks. Need to get my 350 sorted and the engine back in first! Will probably start this winter sooner if mines doing OK.

Well in our family tradition of petrol heads my daughter had her 16th Birthday so we started her along the modding path! A week ago Buster, My better half Kim and I picked up this little 1986 Mini Mayfair - in need of much TLC. we then presented her with it today I'm not sure if she was crying or laughing So with some assistance from dad she will soon be rebuilding this as her first car! A few well wishes dropped in to congratulate/commiserate? with her. Another epic build thread should commence as soon as "Dad gets his car out of the garage" Yes she has already asked!!!! Stay tuned ............................
