Well its Wednesday night and we did it - got her back together - good job really as she is due back at AME in Silverstone tomorrow morning at 9:30AM Shout out to my wife, daughter and Buster who (as I was working away today) did a load of little bits (like removing my back wheels ) before I got home. So as a picture paints a thousand words and I'm to knackered to type some pictures for your enjoyment/disbelief whatever Not sure about these new rear wheels mind you - but she won't fit on the trailer otherwise -- O they also added this little mod and ready for the trip in the morning Now that's a tight fit That's all folks .........................

Late one in the ZedShed tonight to stay on track for a Wednesday night finish. GTSPEC centre brace was first on tonight I modified the nut holders to reduce drilling under the car Before after then bolted it together - very easy install (hard to photo) Drivers side wing on (forgot to wire the indicator first time ) Lights and front bumper side skirts and last thing tonight I decided to change the trim on the carbon pillars for the OEM ones as they have more shape Knackered now Hope to finish her tomorrow night That's all folks .....................

My mate "Woody" at the machine shop sorted me out again in super quick time, the threads on the sump plug had gone so I asked if he could weld a plate on, drill it and stick a new bolt on - but no he always has to go one better He machined the outside flat, drilled it and ran an M21 x 1 die through it then took a piece of hex bar and made me a custom sump plug even made an oversize copper washer (and 2 spares) to allow full thread in the sump - soon had that fitted then the zorst (got my ne gaskets today) then I did the mesh in the wing vents and got the passenger side fitted nearly all back together (again) now That's all folks ...........................

Another Sunday in the ZedShed - but I'm happy as I'm fitting my engine Did you know I had me engine back So started here and after 2 hours I was here Mind you there was a difference - downpipes fitted, gearstick in, clutch connected and bled, starter motor and all the bottom end wiring connected along with the prop shaft another couple of hours to here lower and upper plenum SC inlet pipe lined up more wiring done, all good. Finish point tonight was here Rads and fans back in FMIC all SC pipe work 90% of the wiring and the PS cooler all back in. Took the sump off last thing that's going over to my mate at the machine shop to have some attention as the thread for the sump plug has seen better days Hope to have her finished by Wednesday fingers crossed. That's all folks ...............................

Its out of a 350z its a (nearly) standard VQ35DE just had a few little bits tweaked and a good clean before I put it back in

Yes the sill little fiddly plug has snapped were the wires go in So after much mucking about (my hands were made for bigger things) I eventually got it sorted then more wires and pipes to connect got to here today More tomorrow.
