OK I made my car Green - I didn't know it had some deep meaning - However it says - Dark Green: Well-Balanced, Trustworthy, Traditional; Light Green: Organic, No-Fuss, Understated Understated???!!!!!!!! Errrr Have to say I don't think so - Organic??/!!!! - well it eats fossil fuel Of course it is often said by close friends and family "Well balanced and Understated" - Its just never said about me

I have 2 minor problems to our otherwise cunning plan 1. I just got off the phone to Bournemouth International Airport who said "drop dead you annoying idiot, you don't have a private jet!" 2. Today I tried something a bit different and a bit more challenging Starting with a standard rear quarter panel - and attack with an angle grinder repair with a welder and repeat I was having some problems but I found a tip on one of the Mini forums to get good penetration (oooooo errr ) and a stronger weld, it works as well also it helps to tap it "in" while it is still hot from the welding this means less grinding and more weld left and just for fun I stuck a bit of filler in to get a feel for the finished product think I can make it work only 3 more to go Stay tuned for the next exciting episode .................

If the temp is not dropping below 88 the fans should not turn of so the problem - if there is one is why is the temp not dropping - my initial thought would be that the ambient under bonnet temp is now higher due to having been driving a while however, I assume that your used to what your Zed does and this is a new thing? So assuming this is a new feature you need to see why you're not cooling efficiently anymore. Check for plastic and crap blown into the rad anything else that would reduce airflow (under tray now on the M6 rather than under car etc ) If all looks good flush the coolant system and treat her to some new water and anti freeze (it's nearly winter anyway) won't cost that much and may solve the problem???? Just my first thoughts
