Can you give us a little more idea of the noise - is it a grinding or a tapping - is it all the time after it starts? I wonder if its brakes, take a wheel of and check the inside pad.

Is it just an reinforcement bar? Yes Is it part of the subframe? No But indirectly bolts to it. Is it even needed there?
