  1. Bride seats are a good option for the Zed - loads of models though! Always, always try before you buy with seats - I love mine but some find them a bit narrow across the knees. Also if you have electric seats at the moment then removing them will cause the AirBag Warning light to come up on the dash - you will need the resistor fix (cheap) or the Nismo harness fix (expensive)
  2. So I know this is a car forum but tonight something a little different Welcome to ............... Carpentry With Keyser OK This is the back of the original Mini rear seat As you see the top is all nicely shaped including a big lip That lets it fit over and neatly finish this Now the roll cage makes the rear seat obsolete so I want to recreate the top of the seat as the design hides the shape and covers the join with the parcel shelf and side windows. I then want to blend it into the new Sub box. Got some MDF cut a strip cut the front face at the same angle as the rear seat used a router to clear a channel for the lip on the parcel shelf Made a template and cut another strip to this shape Join the two together Then it fits like - The gaps are left to allow space for foam padding and upholstery, then it should be a snug fit to the edges. Stay tuned for the next exciting episode ...........................
  3. Im sure Tarmac can hook you up with what you're after... Giving a new meaning to Tarmac's "PIMP" my ride
  4. and you know this how??? Poppy bombed I could understand
  5. Lovely curves Who to PM for a pair
  6. If your not confident or feel uncomfortable with it I wouldn't go - I hate rain on track days always spoils it a bit Having said that as long as you take it easy and don't push it to far it's a good way to have fun - not done Mallory so I don't know what the run off areas are like? If they are big and flat then it's not as bad - Castle Combe has some bends with no run off area - not a place to get it wrong! If you go just have fun Just a point to note my Zorst makes 10db more on a wet day than dry day - I'm told it's to do with damp air density - all I know is the wetter it has been the higher they told me my zorst was.
  7. Glad your OK Sorry to hear about the car.

  9. They can't ALL be green Chris Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww why not????
  10. Depends where the puncture is - if its a leaky valve - happy days If its a nail or simlar and not to close to the side wall then a repair should be OK - They won't repair it if its to close to or in the side wall. I paid £10 for a plug repair - but I know the garage ownner.
  11. I usually just go out the door and it's found me loads of it all white an clean looking Sorry can't be of any help here I have a 4x4 for snow and my Zed is barley drivable in the wet let alone snow

    Door Handles

You should be able to run a wire or cable tie from the door release wire out of the door handle hole and use that to open the door?
  14. Sorry Mr G - Not sure why it did that!? Nice of you to keep an eye out for the older ones among us
  15. Well, well, well I'm building a base box in the back of the Mini just for fun and as I have never done an ICE install before - So this is all new to me I've been surfing the web and listening to advice on what I need and keeping an eye on eBay for any parts I may be able to utilise. Of course being a man I used the good old "Bigger must be better" thought process and when this little item came up close by I sent an offer, which the seller accepted! So just got back from one of those dodgy carpark meetings That should cover the base requirements in a Mini - shouldn't it? As I say I know nothing about ICE I just looked at loads of pictures Of course if it doesn't do the job - Stay Tuned for the next exciting episode ......................
