  1. I'll guess (a pic would be good) wear sensor's - normally fitted to the inside of the caliper - if you have the warning sensor they should clip onto a wire. But I don't have them - but I haven't seen clips on any 350 brake pads yet
  2. Awesome write up great vids and well done Keep it up
  3. Not even an offer to come and give me a rub down or walk on my back in your kitten heels? That's a brave thing to say to SMD - the doorbell will be ringing soon I prefer to knock on the back door... O Dave please its only lunchtime!!!
  4. Not even an offer to come and give me a rub down or walk on my back in your kitten heels? That's a brave thing to say to SMD - the doorbell will be ringing soon
  5. It's a naff thing to do and I would never do it (My Initials CS her initials KS)
  6. I thought my Audi shed was practical - that's fast and practical Bet I get better MPG
  7. Firstly proof that the Zed is still practical after you install a base box Last job was to tidy the back so routed the cables and made a cover Just need to vacuum all the dust out and she is good to go who's next????? Autobots!! Let's roll.....................
  8. Technically it's not wood, it's MDF or Medium Density Fiberboard, (just being a smart arse) it is what most are made out of the Acoustic Fabric and the lining also help
  9. Not sure - is this an after market gauge or the OEM one? What oil is it and was it hot? Mine is over 100psi cold drops as she warms up. I would plug a stand alone oil pressure gauge in to be sure.
  10. Wife has a JDM - dosn't have auto fold mirrors - maybe to do with the aftermarket alarm
  11. How low is your Zed? Buster's runs about 30mm lowerd and we have to put it on a 4" block to get the jack under the front Use as much as you need to get the jack in - make sure the car is supported if your going underneath and try and keep it fairly level when you drain the oil
  12. Is that like the "my car isn't as fast as it used to be" problem 'cause I suffer from that
  13. Nice May have to copy that into a certain bright Green Zed very soon. Must be winter - everyone is posting ICE pics (getting coat)
  14. I do agree, and have been reading up on all this cu ft requirements and ports and calculations - what I have learnt points to 2 things 1. It assumes a perfect world - i.e the space in the boot is the space in the boot dosen't matter if you need more - short of driving round with the boot open 2. The cu ft of the base box has to also be measured in respect of the acoustic properties of the car it is to be fitted to, so just because the box has the correct air volume it may still sound bad. At this point I started reading the calculations on porting/venting sub boxes and my head exploded So yes I agree and I do think it should be a bit bigger - especially given the fact he has now put a 12" Sub in! - but the car still needs a boot otherwise Mrs Buster will be removing parts of Mr Buster's anatomy that he would much rather keep The get out of jail card appears to be padding - by using nylon or loft insulation as padding you can artificially increase the cu ft of the box and yes there is a calculation for it and if you search hard enough you can find the acoustic variations caused by different padding material OMG! So we built a box that fitted and put "that much" padding in it and turned it on - Buster liked the sound so it stayed.
