  1. Hello everyone Now as you know the Mini is going to be painted Sunset the same as a Zed. The problem was I went to buy the paint I should not be allowed to buy the paint as I do silly things when let loose on my own in an automotive paint shop - this is why my Red Zed is actually Green. Well Boys n Girls I've only gone and done it again I decided that when I do a car it's a statement (of what I have no idea) but what I see in my head as the finished product is not Sunset so I changed the colour just a little bit. ORANGE IS THE NEW GREEN IN THE ZEDSHED!!!!!!!! I don't care I love it!!!!! So I did this to the wheels to see if it worked How loud Finish is awesome The flash does not do them justice at all!! To get there we first did this Then applied paint This is gonna be a LOUD mini Got a pic of the roll cage in daylight as well Happy with the finish on this as well More painting to follow Stay tuned for the next exciting episode ......................

  17. I use a few suppliers for Vortech parts and local car parts place can get the Gates belts, you could drop Tarmac a PM he may be able to help Also used these guys but delivery will take a while http://www.superchargersonline.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=510_1071_1073_1305_1310 That depends on your setup, how many pulleys you have and Gen1 or Gen2 - http://www.superchargersonline.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=510_1153_1316&products_id=5012 http://www.superchargersonline.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=510_1153_1316&products_id=5011 Whatever belt you run on with the 3.33 you will need 0.5" shorter for the 2.87 pully (I Think thats correct) Depends how far you push it, what supporting Mods and who / how it is mapped in, last year I bought a 350z with a blown engine, when we pulled the VQ lump out we found 5 smashed pistons That was just running an after market ECU with a bad a map - was really quick ..................................................... until it destroyed itself! So it's only safe if you do it right!!
  18. The truth is it does and is covered But I cover important stuff behind the wheels is a huge sheet of cardboard, I also use tarps hung from the ceiling to protect anything behind when I spray colour but it does get around. Cleans of easily though if it's just the the overspray dust as its nearly dry when it lands.
  19. No Mate it's the front ribbed pulley you change down to a 3.12 or 2.87 You can change the toothed pulley setup but most don't. About 1-2psi increase for each step down. Watch the jack shaft speeds at less than a 2.87 as they exceed manufactures spec at top rpm
