  1. Define safe Yes the car will still drive - no you won't damage anything BUT you are disconnecting the ARB from side to side which will affect the handling, so I would suggest you drive slowly and carefully if you have to drive. It will mess with the cornering the most. So can you drive without it - yes Should you - IMHO NO!
  2. @ Doogy - go paint ya toolbox It does not involve a torture chair - but there could be some metal rings involved as well as lots of electricity and compressed air Wind tunnel? That would be easy - a long tunnel and stand Buster at one end and ask him about Wheel offsets and lowering - One wind tunnel

  7. Finished at last!!! Spent most evenings this week getting everything done ready for some fun at the weekend So started with a bit of wiring as I had this laying around Lights and power points and TIDY Cupboards up Compressor mounted on some wooden blocks with power and air line I setup the out let like this (I was PM'd about water in the airline so I thought I'd show my install) the idea behind the copper 'U' Bend is as the air hits it the water condenses on the copper and runs to the bottom where it can be drained at the top I have a filter regulator and a T piece so I can have 2 hoses on the go - 1 will feed the "Blast Chamber" which is also finished with lights and power - but I didn't photo it I'll take some pics tomorrow. Have a fun weekend all
  8. OK Sorry - I thought it had started after the oil change - always hard when writing a quick post to cover everything exactly. I have seen one similar problem and it was a weak slave cylinder - so the clutch is not fully disengaging. making 1st very stiff. Both the slave and master cylinders can go causing issues but earlier models do have week synchros and these can cause problems, usually 3rd and 5th start grinding when selected. Hope that helps
  9. Hi Mate, along. Another Zed on the block (hopefully). Always welcome round here
  10. Did you change the gearbox oil? i.e "tranny" If so I'd be changing it for the genuine Nissan gearbox oil with a bit of moly slip for good measure. A few people have not had good results using other makes of oil for whatever reason. If you he does a complete kit. Other than that they can be notchy and need a good push into gear but if it's only since the oil change its been doing it then it makes sense it's the oil thats the issue.
