  1. Close enough Inside wheel out side wheel makes no odds if you weld the diff the back wheels are locked together always turn at the same speed - great for sliding - horrid to drive the car round corners slowly
  2. Time to pull some fuses Have a read here http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/59245-abs-is-trying-to-kill-me/#entry878745 and this may be of intrest http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/64138-surprised-more-people-havent-tried-this-really-improved-my-z/ Hope it helps.

  5. Bloomin expensive though tool boxes! I want another / bigger one it will probably be my next major purchase for the ZedShed - although I'm planning an extension on the shed at the moment
  6. Only everytime I open the ZedShed door I'm jealous of you getting to do an E Type and I'm on a Mini I did it with the Zed when it was in bits with piles of parts all over the place and so much to do before I could even think about her being back on the road, it's the same with the Mini if you look at everything to do! - so I don't - and that's how I do it, it's not a big job bolting a new shock absorber on, putting 2 bearings in a hub takes 30 mins, bolting a subframe in is an hour's work etc. So in my head its just 1 little job at a time and by the end of the weekend the whole rear sub frame, suspension, brakes, bearings etc are all back in! Simples Don't lose faith my man you are doing a cracking job bringing an all time classic and one of my favourite cars back to its former glory I don't think the few bits I bought from you will make a substantial difference to the build - maybe I could be credited with helping to purchase a new valve cap If I can help with anything just drop me a PM
  7. Mine is there to put my feet out so I can get out!! I also have fire proof overalls as well not that I'm worried or anything
  8. Sad I carry an extinguisher mounted on the rear brace I made sure I could reach it from the drivers seat as well - I've been carrying it ever since I rebuilt the car
  9. Well we maybe able to slip you in at the back, but we do have that Black one belonging to GT4 Zed to sort
  10. No, i did have some paintwork done around 15 months ago if that's what you mean but it came in white from new. I had the bonnet and bumper done and the roof re-painted in black Hmm maybe confusing them - did you have a little overspray from the bonnet work? I'm sure I was discussing that with a Dave who had a very clean white Zed - not sure what colour the roof was at the time
  11. I took mine out over the weekend - I have no idea on MPG but my NOS is lasting far too long - need some nice weather to get on track and burn some up
  12. Congrats and welcome back - Just had a respray - is that the one?????
  13. I think we can get on that after we have done the next 5-6 projects we have lined up and a couple of "small" jobs for other mebmbers that we have booked in All I need is a shell and a limitless budget I'll sort out something for him
