  1. along IMO The best option is to spray it GREEN it not only hides the scratches it looks great and makes the Zed faster Of course you would have to do the rest of the trim and car to match
  2. Very welcome mate - shame it did not go to plan was a great idea. If you need to break anything else I'm just round the corner
  3. they are the correct length you just need to make sure the pipe are aligned all okay. Come on Mark, Vortech are not exactly generous with the silicone couplers an extra 0.5 - 1 inch on some of them would not do any harm would it?
  4. See thats not "wayyy too green"
  5. No such thing as "wayyy too green" Black bonnet stripe, door handle and wheels - sorted Of course if you do that may as well go the whole distance and add a built motor, SC and NOS
  6. Its a known problem with the Vortech kit - we had upgraded and longer hoses to replace the stock parts with but they sent the wrong pipe clips with them so we had to use stock ones I think some have already been changed and they all will be when the new clips arrive
  7. If I'm understanding you correctly you turn the car on and all the lights come on you turn the key and nothing happens - Try a few more times and the starter kicks in and the car starts. so it sounds like the starter is not kicking in so the next 2 places to look are 1. The starter motor relay - in with the battery could be sticking 2. the starter solenoid - on top of the starter - could be sticking If it was me I would dive under the car with a multi meter (or a 12v bulb) and pull the small wire off the starter motor (there are only 2 wires to it battery feed and solenoid feed) Stick the meter/bulb into the wire and ground the other side, get someone to turn the key to the start position several times, if the meter shows 12v (or the bulb comes on) every time then the solenoid is sticking or U/S if it is an intermittent feed then it's the relay. If you want to test the starter motor best to take it out of the car , Run a 12v feed from a battery to the starter motor big cable earth the starter motor to the same battery run a extension from the small wire on the solenoid to the same battery when you touch this wire to the live terminal the bendix should kick out and the starter motor spin - make sure the starter is secure in a vice or similar they kick a bit when fired off the car!!! Hope that helps EDIT : I'm assuming you changed the clutch switch for a known working one so that is ruled out.
  8. What the pink handles or red wheels?
  9. O the vultures are already circling Change the short block - if you can DIY it that's going to be the most cost effective solution. Where are you based?
  10. They do come up on here and eBay from time to time - quite rare I got mine new from Tarmac and they were shipped with some other parts from the states only took 2 weeks and I had a big order in
  11. Is that inside or outside plastic? Plastic can be sprayed but plastic primer is required and be careful as plastic takes paint differently to metal so sometimes the colour match is not as good. This won't help at all - it's as easy/hard to paint as metal - but if you haven't sprayed metal you won't know how hard/easy that is It also depends what your spraying with and how big the plastics are - Big areas are harder IMO as you need to get even cover and no runs small bits you just do lots of thin coats out of a rattle can until your happy with the finish. With a bit more info I may be able to help a bit more
  12. I cheated its paint Masking done by Mrs Keyser - she is known as "The Eye" She is good at getting things spot on and equal, these were her work as well all 4 were bang on (don't ever hang a picture out of square though!!!!!! drives her nuts )
