  1. I'm surprised the TCS light didn't come on with that setup
  2. O I only spent a few quid modifying mine - you know about the same as a second hand Audi R8 But I only did it to get in a magazine It's a bit like asking people why the bothered climbing Everest "Because it was there" So I'm with Wasso - "I was having a midlife crisis"
  3. I'm just relived - I thought it was BBK who had faster internet - not like he isn't on here enough already Cool Vid
  4. I ran 245/40/18 front 275/40/18 rear on 9.5" and 10.5" rimms great feel and feedback never had traction control or slip lights coming on although I do turn tcs off as soon as I start the Zed.
  5. It just knows you have done 10,000 miles on them so they need changing.
  6. I use 888s and they are awesome! Massive improvement in grip compared to the other tyres I have tried and you can stop quicker on them, they do wear fast I now have 2 sets of alloys one for track one for road. They are however not so good in the wet especially when they are past half worn. If you can afford a set try them I don't think you will be sorry.
  7. I'm not so sure about this mod - it's defo different - I don't hate it I'm just not sure it goes on Busters Zed - But it's his Zed and he likes it so
  8. How many times do I have to correct this???? It's the SECOND fastest colour - of course it's the best colour to use as a bas before you paint your Zed the fastest colour which is GREEN And to the OP Nissan never produced a green Zed. :p Got me
  9. If I come along Sunday you can have a look at mine if you like O thanks Dave I feel honored
  10. Pity that you can only use it on a track It's not actually illegal on the road - however the insurance companies have a policy against using on the road so yup - track use only But is fun :
  11. Of all the members of the forum a man with a Jag so rusty its a$$ fell off driving down the road made this coment! So in answer to your question less than yours It's not that bad really - just you find it all when you strip it down! I am on my 2nd 5KG roll of mig wire though
  12. @ Bronzee - of course 24 hours in a day you know Just a Mini update tonight (see what I did there?) Started the night by making some pretty templates Transferred them to metal The first one was to go over here its cracked from where I cut out the old bucket seat mount and its right next to the seatbelt mount so I want it to be strong that one sorted Then I found this that's my bad - so that will need more work Welded the first plate in the boot - what a nightmare! no idea what's in the metal maybe something to do with the joint sealant (which I cleaned off first) but it was spitting and popping, got an OK job done in the end - not my neatest work but it's strong and the petrol tank covers it Then I ran out of wire in the MIG So that's it until tomorrow, Stay tuned for the next exciting episode...........................
  13. How many times do I have to correct this???? It's the SECOND fastest colour - of course it's the best colour to use as a bas before you paint your Zed the fastest colour which is GREEN And to the OP
  14. Could be anything really, could be the fuel damper they can make a noise that tends to be noticeable at low RPM / idle and work your way up from there, something loose, cam chain tensioner big ends (unlikely they get louder as you rev or as you come off rev) can you get a video and or be more precise as to the area of the engine bay - front back etc?
