A normal Friday night at the ZedShed But at least one person knows how to be assured of a warm welcome So we had Keyser, Buster, Mrs Keyser Mrs Buster, Junior Keyser, Octet, Wasso After we sorted out a little job on Wasso's oil burner - sorry 350z we sat down for a Chinese take away (thanks Ian ) and a good old chat Great to see everyone tonight had a good laugh as always - Hope to see you all again soon!!

Some progress after a few hours cleaning we got to here Then some masking Then some primer The outside is just a quick coat to stop any rust on the bare metal, the inside will have a light sand and some colour soon (I hope) Stay tuned for the next exciting episode ...........................

Well HP is power measured against Pit ponies (useless trivia) Torque is the force that those ponies (see what I did there?) are applied with so torque is good The Zed having bags of torque means that it can apply lots of force to the back wheels at just about any speed in any gear so it will get up and go when you want it to, if we compare it to something that only produces torque at high revs or when the turbo spools up then although they may have more HP and prolly more torque they can't use it and have to stay on the revs to be "fast". You in your Zed can use the HUGE torque it produces at any point so you don't have to be on the revs. Dunno if that in any way helps?

O yes if you had a licence you would be fine and can retune I still don't think you get the UPREV licence with the cable - or do you ????? I thought the cable gave the abbility but there is Cipher - Diagnostic only Osiris - 2 types standard and tuner I assume this comes with standard and you need tuner, I assume to do the tuning which would be the $200 upgrade? Can Mark or Jez confirm

I don't think so The licence is for the cable to talk to the software on the laptop - Well thats what it does on mine The upgrade he refers to for $200 is the cable upgrade you need to get to actually tune and load an UPREV licence - you still need the licence @ circa £250.00 I could be wrong but thats how I understood it when I bought the cable and the UPREV for the wifes last Zed - Check with Jez @ Horsham oor Mark @ Abbey to be sure but I think you may be out of pocket if you assume that there is an UPREV licence in that cable You should still have it tuned on a Dyno and yes you would of course save money if you fitted it yourself Edit : Ignore me I'm getting my Cipher and Osiris cables muddled up

Nope defo looks like an SC kit Install and an uprev licence some dyno time what around £1,500 - £2000 on top of purchase price - should make 350 + HP not bad for £4k may need a few more supporting mods so budget £5k sorted Of course that assumes it sells for £1,800.00 but over a week to go.
