  1. Right everybody, nothing here to see anymore, it's probably all gone now What are you trying to say
  2. We went clay pigeon shooting on Saturday as a surprise birthday treat for Baby Keyser - she loved it and hit the first clay they launched for her Saturday night we went to the local modified car meet and loads of heavily modified cars and bikes all showed up in blue and white with orange stripes and blue flashing lights, they seem to be in a club called "Police" But they were fine and it was a good meet Then Sunday OMG Sunday Buster fitted a new HU for another member first thing before heading over to the Zedshed with Mrs Buster mid morning, about the same time MrE004 accompanied by MrsE004 (well she nearly is) arrived and they proceeded to fit MrE's new zorst Meanwhile I locked Mrs Keyser in the blast chamber with some wheels While I redid the powder coat on this one Buster and MrE then did some minor mods on MrEs Zed - badges repainted, indicators tinted etc, then MattRoss1313 got back from Exeter with his new zorst and another Zorst that Buster and I had bought to go halves on - he got them both in a Zed Put the pics up Matt so we took the back half for Buster gave that a clean and put it onto the Ginger Ninja Loads of ground clearance Then onto the next challenge - which someone decided it would be fun to time!! Mrs Keyser's roadster came in to have Berks HFC's and a new Y pipe fitted (The bit of the zorst I wanted) The sun went in but the time keepers stayed to errrrr time The official time for the swap was 1 hour and 13 minutes (including coffee break) Zorst's everywhere I then decided that I should clean the powder coating booth with an airline - apparently you get messy doing that So by the end of Sunday we archived 1 HU install 3 exhaust installs several minor Mods 4 wheels sandblasted powder coated Not a bad day really Thanks to everyone for a fun day - we can do it all again soon.
  3. No sorry, never heard of you best put a thread up introducing yourself Come on your engine bay has legendary status and you've got 2 weeks we expect great things
  4. New car seems a little extreem but two! When I asked the local car parts place if they had a set of locking wheel nuts for a Honda the reply was - "sounds like a fair swap"
  5. We can add to the colour spectrum mate - I did notice yours is in the list as light blue though My +1 is Kim ( the brains of the operation) EDIT: Wasso is going to wash mine early on Saturday
  6. decent quality wheel nut socket but clean the inside before you use it, and keep it clean, any crud inside will mark the nuts. I have a set like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BERGEN-7-Piece-Alloy-Wheel-Deep-Socket-Set-17mm-to-27mm-BER0888-/280854201056?pt=UK_Hand_Tools_Equipment&hash=item41643702e0 not had much issue - except when the wheel nuts were done up to so tight they were starting to strip the threads!!!
  7. That's dedication or an unhealthy tyre loading fetish
  8. Just thought I'd try something different Don't worrk it won't be there when they get bolted on Did the Mini hubs the same way when they were powder coated but thanks for the heads up
  9. OK this could be the start of a very expensive mistake ............. I have some nice new Rota's for my track tyres - but they are white so I was going to paint them But Buster said - "why not powder coat then" So into the blast chamber first attempt - I missed some primer on the back edge when sand blasting - as it's the same darn colour as the alloy So back in the blast chamber with wheel No 2 - the first one will get redone this is what an hour in the chamber does to a face mask new one I use these as I acquired a load of them So after another session wheel 2 looked like into the powder coating booth then into the oven for a quick bake we get ...................................... bet the colour was a surprise Some close ups of the finish That's all folks ........................
  10. Good evening fellow petrol heads Been playing one "The Bitch" again in readiness for Japfest and Wales : thumbs: So took this out so I could get to the Petrol tank - anyone remember this? O hours of fun There she -be just how I left it after much flaffing I got the petrol sender working again so I thought I should install this, I've only had it a year - Thanks Tarmac Buster took these Then I rewired my track cam and tested it in the workshop Put it back in the car sorted - test drive - it failed after about 20mins Ordered another one from eBay There's more .............................
  11. That's my bad guys - I though it came with the tuner kit I have the fuel Vortech loop pressure system thing as well - never used - as I went for the in tank 255lph pump and RFS O and I hoard things - when they say I have this as well if you want it - I just say yes
  12. Sinday, eh? Do tell more... You have been here you know the rules - what happens in the ZedShed stays in the ZedShed! Bring out the gimp
  13. Been working on Zed's for a few nights - in case I forget how they all go together and work Did the new Zorst on Mrs Keysers Roadster, been sorting a few jobs on mine for Japfest - hope to get some don on Sinday / Monday though
  14. I have 2 old vortech piggy back ECU's a Turbo XS Utec and another one (I have never used - comes with the tuner kit - think that's what you want ) As I say never used the tuner Kit one - I swapped out the Utec when I added the NOS and Water meth - it was fully working at the time and had 2 maps in it with a toggle switch to change them. Either of any use to you? EDIT - FYI I upgraded to the Haltech
