Has a part service history and had a P3 (approx 1000 miles ago) just before it came to an untimely end The Moderators have kindly allowed me a bit of leniency as I can't relay take the whole car apart and photo each part with a price. 4. Very Very nice - and the colour is AWESOME!!!!!!! We have a lot in common a be afraid be very afraid
  5. Nice I'd have had this but my dash is too modified for it to fit Nice work fitting as well
  6. Well we had to take time out to keep walking round the corner to be sure no one had nicked the new car before it could be delivered OMG Low Blow alert!!!! But you started it
  7. Exactly that - the "new" Zed was bought and registered to Luke - the parts changed were the wheels as he has Rays, the boot as it has his spoiler mounts on it etc. He then transfered his insurance from the old one to the new one all legal and above board, also means we didn't add an owner to the new Zed which is good, Fair play to Luke for having some faith in me as we had never met and we still bought a Zed together - but I think he was pleased with the end result
  8. It's an Eastern European thing mate
  9. OK OK it wasn't really witchcraft or black magic and we are good but not that good How it really happened ( I feel like Penn and Teller writing this) Anyway as I said to Luke with that many panels gone we really need a doner car. So we (me and Luke) acquired this See what I did there - you thought I spelt donor wrong didn't ya!!!! Some more pics She is an 05 UK GT Spec with 25,000 miles on the clock - not in perfect condition and no proper service history (but at 25K who cares) The body work except the rear bumper is 85% - engine seems sweet. As well as the engine bay plastics which were all missing the driver's side dash had no plastic on the lower area so all the switches were just hanging out, drivers side seat is sticky - prolly just lack of use. The brakes had a slightly spongy feel as well - they work but don't feel 100% - fluid and pads needed I'd say. EDIT: - That POP charger is a joke its just a filter bouncing around under the bonnet! While all this was going on I also have another Zed owner in contact with me about some bad suspension damage, So now it gets complicated, Owner No 2 wants a substantial amount of front end parts Buster is on the lookout for some interior parts. Mattross1313 - would like a few bits n bobs I am after some things ready for the now Big roadster revamp this winter So when we sat down and worked it all out the best way forwards was to get the "doner" car we then moved, Seats, suspension, zorst, boot lid the wheels (after having the bad ones tyre removed and checked then the rim cleaned, sealed and re balanced) as well as the pulling the head unit and spending over an hour getting the stickers off the side and mopping the doors as well as some minor bits like B pillars and we then flushed and bled the brakes with some RBF600. Few more pics wheels anyone??? the Green ones are actually genuine Veilside Andrew Racing wheels if you like them PM me they don't have to stay Green Mid day we found a rusted nut hampering progress - Buster thought I could grind half of it off and then chisel the other half away without damaging the threads - Yer right!!! I have to say his faith in me is amazing, so with a fair bit of pushing from the rest of the crew I had a go and the bolt is still in use Whoop Whoop - I have some great ideas (I told Bob if it worked I'd take the credit ) Seats and lower dash swapped I'm sure you will agree that the finished result was pretty good. O and at the risk of being told off by the Mods - I have a large number of OEM parts for sale so PM me and I'll see if I have it - For Sale thread/threads to follow ASAP. The Crew.
  10. Tell Matt - it may help stop the caravans passing
  11. Well spotted We also managed to turn his 100,000 mile 2003 JDM Into a 25,000 mile UK GT Spec I'll upload some pics for you all now

  13. Like (with the mini guns though!!!)
  14. Luke saw that one coming and took the spoiler off before we collected the car Well we definatley did not respray the car in a day Actually we did way way better than that - I am surprised no one has notticed the upgrades we also did, I'll let you look at the pics really carefully while I go eat then I'll let you know what we upgraded and how we did it
  15. My wife does keep busy does she not!!! I wonder how much trouble I'm in when she reads that?
  16. Actually the apprentice came with 2 packs of doughnuts so we did that today as well
  17. Keyser

    Gearknob

Go on Dave rub it in
  18. Lost - were you putting a spacer in? As for the snapped bolt - is any left sticking out? If so take the upper plenum off and try and remove the snapped bit - then replace. If not you need to drill it out and use a stud extractor to get the broken bit out - or drill it out completeley and helicoil it.
  19. Some of you may remember a post earlier this week about a minor mishap Luke0549 had with his Zed - seen here http://www.350z-uk.c...off/page__st__0 So we had a bit of a PM conversation then onto a phone conversation, which went a bit along the lines of ...................... Luke - Yer bent a couple of panels mostly cosmetic. Me - Well if its just minor cosmetic damage I'm sure we can help, what's your budget for the repair? Luke - Err slightly less than a full re-spray would cost Me - We love a challenge best get on it then. So the trusty 4x4 and trailer took a spin up to North west London late of an evening and loaded up a rather sad looking 350z - we got back in the early hours of the night but it was the following morning in the harsh light of day that the reality of it all hit!!!! The mostly "cosmetic" damage - let's just say Luke's pictures just didn't do it justice Hers are a few snaps I took - The challenge then is to turn that poor looking Zed into a shining example of the lovley car it should be by lunch time Sunday?!! So we had a look round for a few spare parts and made some phone calls - Early this morning the Zed Shed pit crew of Me, Mrs Keyser, Buster and apprentice Pit Crew member Mattross1313 were busy drinking coffee and assessing the situation, several coffee's later we had a plan of action and at about 11AM today the Zed Shed opened it's doors (rolled out the Mini) and set to work. A mere 7 hours of bumping, banging, shouting along with some serious mickey taking lots of coffee drinking and cigarette smoking, I am proud to show you what we managed to do prior to Luke's arrival at the Zed Shed tomorrow - Drum Roll Please ....................................... Not a bad 7 Hours Shout out to the work force for a solid days effort - nice one guys n girls. Luke hope you like her again now See you tomorrow! Keyser and the Zed Shed Pit Crew.
