Evening all Went on a road trip today (took "The Bitch") - awesome Also dropped in on Aiuchi-Gary (Nice to meet you mate ) to drop of a cup holder for him. Then............................... Picked this up (eBay purchase) (I wanted a Jag really ) It will need modifying as it's for the later edition clocks and it is damaged Then a bit of Powder Coating this afternoon Put the Fan and alternator back in Then the rad and some new silicone hoses and to finish off we took the old dip stick out New one in Stay tuned for the next exciting episode...........................

Another full house at the Zed Shed on Saturday By 10AM the garden was getting full ddcboyle and his better half arrived in a Zed that apart from the rear bumper is one of the best colours I have ever seen (Buster immediately climbed underneath and fell asleep!!!) We too k a few bits off the "other" Green machine - zorst, gearbox that sort of thing then replaced his old dead clutch and fly with something a little better earning his Zed a sticker That's the first time 2 green ones have been together here! In other news This strange looking character arrived early - he has a thing for leather you know after much touchy feely with the seat he added a speed stripe did some witch craft and - Then onto some others - Before First Clean and after a few hours All I can say is WOW, Thanks Pete they look amazing!!!! I want to take mine to 500, but Mark@Abbey is uncomfortable going that far on an unbuilt engine... guess I'll be saving for that then. Am told blocks can cope with upto 600bhp before they start cracking.. I hope so I'm close It's not the block its the rods that give up first - or so "they" say.

Don't worry, every day is a school day! Yep so Bose HU will mean it has the 7 speaker system which is easily seen by having a big woofer behind the drivers seat. There is no 'additional' upgrade that i am aware of ontop of this. Good point 350Ad you do get more speakers with a Bose - and there I was thinking you were just a pretty face

A lot of adverts say "upgraded speakers" or "Upgraded Bose sound system" They are just the Bose option on the UK GT model - Its rebranded Clarion I think and not that good to be honest Unless a previous owner has replaced the speakers it will just be that, hope that helps

Another little (Mini) update, Started in here Got hold of this - £16 + Shipping new £4 from a local Mini spares guy Got this off eBay - spares or repairs plundered a few bits Now have a completed Servo upgrade on the Mini Then replaced the old throttle return spring with a nice new one Put the throttle pedal in and some nice red pedal covers (another 5BHP ?) Then this added a nice new braided clutch line and the throttle cable Then got this out OMG Think I'll start that tomorrow Stay tuned for the next exciting episode...........................
