Got a bit more done on the Mini this weekend with the deadline looming ever closer Started with the battery positive from the back to the front All in Then Buster showed up to help! Then the speedo cable Windscreen wiper motor and associated drive We moved the hazard warning flaser inside for the sake of neatness Buster was still hard at it Upgraded to a 5 switch dash Choke cable in Hi tech heater cable in re wired the fog light so it only comes on if the car lights are on Then we found a problem, The washer bottle won't fit this is because the old shell had no Servo for the brakes and the washer was mounted where the servo now sits! Credit to Buster who woke up from his sunbathing just long enough to mumble "stick it in the boot out of the way" - So we nabbed the rear washer water pipe from the breaking 350z and fed it from the boot through the cabin and into the engine bay All tested working and I have ordered a washer "bag" to stick in the boot. We then tested all the wiring ............... Sidelights - Check Headlights - Check Horn - Check Indicators - Check Hazard Lights - Check Rear windscreen heater - Check Internal Heater - Check Brake warning - Check wipers - Check Fog Light - Check Rev counter - Check Dash lights - Check Windscreen Washer - Check Back on body work next - then the final push to put her all back together and try for MOT! Still a long way to go and a custom ICE install to do though!!!!! Stay tuned for the next exciting episode...........................

The original black handbrake has gone - I do have an Orange one if of any interest

I have a pair of Tein rear springs (only rear ) got a pair of something else (aftermarket) for the front, will need to see what they are I also have a set of standard springs sub 25k (all 4) Be happy to swap or something with someone

Need more info on the car - UK or JDM year and miles - if its old auction on eBay as track car a UK GT with low miles you could break but its not easy

Another little update as we started on the wiring loom tonight Started at the back through to the front Main loom prepped Main loom in Fuse box back in Then this lot at the front - only a few spare at the moment But starting to get there Starts on the Key - got to sort the lights, wipers, indicators etc that will take some time but its slowly moving along Stay tuned for the next exciting episode...........................

Gotta love jobs like that - I spent every night for 6 weeks sandblasting every part from the bottom of my car - Tedious much Be worth it in the end though and besides your better half is doing it while you make the brews so no complaining
