  1. Mine is really track use, fully road legal but not "easy to drive" in traffic - she does go to meets and the odd Sunday cruise - but she is most at home on the track (when I get time) Tony's was road legal but he had problems getting his NOS setup and mapped - not been around for a while, last time I spoke to him he was re doing the NOS kit and said he was looking for a tuner. Got a project planned for the wife's 350 roadster as well - but all on hold while we do the house Looking forwards to seeing yours done
  2. He got used to checking it - had to do it every 3 hours in his 350
  3. I have over 450 WHP - standard drive shafts - no issues (yet) Tony420 is somewhere over 800 WHP and as far as I know he is still on an OE gearbox and stock drive shafts. Hope you get it sorted either way
  4. In a mad moment of weakness I promised Buster I would spray his new spoiler as a birthday present Anyway as everything is on hold as far as my projects are concerned and there has been a delay on the house extension we had a quiet weekend (especially as Buster is on holiday) So the wife thought we should do the spoiler .......................... Starting here Some damage to repair Heavy weight tools into action After some sanding A bit of filler more sanding First coat of primer Few little marks to sort out with some stopper Then the basecoat All good so far - Then I did the clear coat OMG what a disaster - I tried a new jet and needle in my gun BIG MISTAKE! I ended up with runs and a sag mark that you would not believe - It was so bad I didn't even take pics So Sunday we sanded it down again! A new coat of primer Another try with the basecoat Then another attempt at clear coat - this time with my normal setup - I'm happy to say this time it was worth taking some pics Hope he likes it.
  5. Just seen this looks great P.S - £1 (posted) for the unopened Fanta
  6. OMG what is that - are you mad - please don't put that in your Zed!!!! Just wanted to make you feel better I like it in that - Looks cool but not in my car sort of way In other words your braver than me and my Zed is Bright Green!!!!
  7. I thought the drive shafts were different lengths? I'm sure Jez had to change one when he fitted his LSD but can't find the PM now.
  8. 14 sold - going to be like a chargespeed rear bumper at this rate!
  9. Missed the perfect opportunity to spray it a really nice colour like GREEN Looks great
  10. Was on the new yesterday? Prolly happened before though
  11. No worries mate, hope you get it sorted, I took mine out Makes life easy to get to the back and the bolts - of course if you have a few spare minutes a quick clean and some paint before reassembly will make it look nice
  12. My Bad No split pins Not a lot of choice but to carry on - may have been cross threaded but it will have to come out now. I did mine with a socket - have you taken the carrier off the car?
  13. Sorry mate - are we talking about the bolts that hold the bearing into the hub carrier - or the bolts that hold the carrier to the suspension?
  14. Did you take the split pin out first? I'm guessing the threads are hammered - literally - some times they are beaten with a hammer to split the joint. Lots of penetrating oil and a good wire brush is all I can offer as help.
  15. Plain not to big (not to small) And matching
