  4. Coming on You could pull the windscreen wiper motor and arms from that old Jag of yours and have an electric cot rocker
  5. If it makes you feel better I don't Last car I rolled over was the Mini and that was an empty shell - we just used lots of old car tyres but that weighs a bit less than a Zed! As I recall LeonK may have been looking into them for his Jag restoration other than that can't think of anyone else. Good luck finding a solution though PS Do it soon so we can have some updates
  6. Don't see that as the problem but could be - however under the passenger side is the inlet for the fan - this has a shaped plastic surround that connects to the plastic that runs under the windscreen wipers, I have seen a few where this has split off and moved allowing water to run down the screen and into the fan intake. Worth a look maybe? They should be a reasonably tight fit though - only clipped in place with 3 10mm bolts (IIRC) to hold them down - the bolts are under little rectangular covers that just pop off - to take the drivers side off you need to remove the wipers.
  7. That's a lunch box mate @ Will370 - It will be easy now only 1 tool box - 33 draws and a top shelf but only 1 box
  8. About 3/16" So not Massive
  9. 90+ % of parts do fit both models - a few differences - Brakes (this one has the brembos and a straight swap anyway) rear diff, headlights connector etc but most parts are interchangeable
  10. That look very business like! That's a lot of metal in there - think it will stiffen the chassis up for you
  11. Sorry mate - number 36 is up for sale http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271273043512?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 @ Humpy - Unlike Ian I have 3 hammers and 2 adjustable spanners so I need a tool box this big
  12. Bob was back from holiday today and Mrs Keyser collected him at 11:15 brought him back to the ZedShed to help unload my new toolbox see - http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/76128-zedshed-roadtrip-update-with-pics/ Here he is Anyway after helping unload (thanks mate ) off he went home to unpack and shower after 30 hours traveling! We did of course show him his surprise - the now sprayed rear spoiler and would you believe he was back this after noon and in less than 6 hours from getting back he has already shown that he has an incurable case of Zeditis - Into the ZedShed Off with the old spoiler (do you never wash your car Buster? ) New spoiler fitted I like it - Buster seems happy as well
  13. OK Here it is - Yes Buster is back with white bits No that's not it really I just invited him round straight from the flight home to lift it - here it is The most expensive item in the garage!!!! Wanted a new toolbox for ages but it's taken some time chasing them on the bay to get one at the right price and close enough to collect! Also its a limited edition number 29 of 350 if your wondering how big it actually is - So time for a re organization moved some cupboards around All sorted in it's new home The ZedShed Crew.
  14. It's the one you made a cheeky bid on Although less than half the asking price is really not cheeky its just Rude what was the sellers reply ?? - "You must think I'm daft" wasn't it? Mind you I'd have laughed if he said yes Edit: I am trying not to think abouth the "other" one - hopefully someone will buy it and I can carry on with other things!
  15. Now you'll have to wait and see what I bring home won't you Yes I'm bored can't collect until 11:30 so I thought you could all wait with me
  16. That's great news - Hope he finds a decent car this time round Result
  17. PM replied Whazza22 That is my Wife's old Zed (well one of them ) if the faults are an easy fix it could be a bargain as Sam pointed out
  18. Where are you based Wideboy? Any good penetrating oil - leave overnight and try again - a little heat may help but that's usually a last resort - be careful if you shorten the pipe (put a new flange on) it needs to reach the holder. That piece of hard pipe is only about 10" - 12" long it then goes into a valve - so easy to replace if needs be
  19. Nice one mate Needs a few shelves for all your cleaning products Has it got a shed as well????
