Depends what you start with - UK GT (like the wife's roadster) straight swap JDM - bit of mucking about 6pin to 8 pin IIRC

Buster sprayed his TB I can't say that I would be happy to have mine powder coated due to the electronics - happy for you to do it and tell me if it still works. If you have the plenum sandblasted make sure you have it well cleaned before putting it back on. You should really sand the plenum down a bit and polish it up before PC as the "dimples" do show through. I did think of drilling the rivets and seeing if the TB could be stripped for PC but haven't got that far yet. Keep us informed.

Err that's worrying - You should get more HP or at very least more Torque with water meth but you need it mapped in and you would be better served with a multimap option as you don't want the same map when the water/meth runs out Anything over 500hp and you should consider forged internals as they will become the weak point and maybe even fail.

Well when it's not overheating the gauge shows normal When it is over heating and has steam coming out the expansion tank the gauge shows HOT Water Pump - works fine when the thermostat is removed so unlikely but we did consider it. Fans work perfectly

Your on - I'm lost at the moment - all the signs point at it being thermostat as when we take it out the car runs fine no overheating etc - when you put it in the lower hose is cold - so no circulation and the car overheats - had we not tested and used 2 thermostats I'd say it was that. So how long you need it for? just the day???
