  1. Sounds like you are describing clutch slip to me mate.
  2. No idea mate some generic BGW - It does have some damage I did a deal on it thinking it would go well with my Wide Boy kit which I also have not fitted If I do a make over on mine for 2015 I may fit it if someone hasn't already made me an offer I can't refuse So tempting to start throwing numbers at you, but payday isn't until next week It's been in the Shed for over a year mate, If I can fit it in I'll bring it along on Wednesday so you and Grundy can see it and the repair work needed! Or you can come see it I'm 5 mins from the track. It ain't going anywhere in a hurry.

  13. That or one of the other 3 VQ35DE's in the front garden All of them just crying out for a rebuild any one could be sorted and dropped into that 300 of yours Don't worry I won't tell your better half if you don't Special reduced price for forum Mods
  14. I think the workmanship is spot on, shut lines etc all look good and I am not gonna pick on someone that heavily modifies a Zed even if they pick a different body kit to me. I don't like any front that comes out that far including the V3 personally, but I liked Jed's Zed and he has the V3, I do agree with I4N though I think it has to many sharp angles that's why it doesn't "blend" or work so well they are just a bit to harsh. I have to refrain from saying anything about loud colour schemes as one day I may paint mine a loud colour - maybe still debating that.
  15. Hi everyone, For someone that is not playing with cars at the moment I seem to be playing with a lot of cars anyway me and Buster have had visitors at the shed every weekend since Christmas but then come Sunday This .................. So I thought I would take the opportunity to have a look at the engine that kept overheating in Luke's 350 which has a suspected blown head gasket - Soon started stripping it down onto the engine stand I then sat and supervised as the apprentices took over Covers off Primary chain off Heads Off Pleas note the dark stain I think that's where the leak was corresponding yucky looking head gasket and mark on cylinder head By the end of the day we had and a lot of bits No other damage found everything looks good so I will replace the non genuine head gaskets with some OEM and bolt it back together, the engine was recently "re conditioned" the bores are good and you can still see the marks where they where honed, the heads where professionally re conditioned and again you can see where they were recently skimmed so hopefully it was a cheap head gasket that caused the problem and we will have a good engine when rebuilt. Only the test drive will decide Will update when the new parts arrive
  16. A likely story - bet you wanted to see it really!!!
