  1. Mental note - Don't shake hands with coldel he dosn't know his own strength Not had it happen in a car but it did happen to the back door of our old house, walked in the front door, closed it and the back door glass shattered Apparently the glass was under stress for whatever reason (moved or badly fitted) then the air pressure change was just enough to take it over the edge
  2. Is it possible the drivers side jet is worn and allowing to much water out, there is only so much water under so much pressure, as water takes the path of least resistance and the hole in the drivers side is to big all the water comes out there and non goes to the passenger side. Simple test block the drivers side and try the washers, may just need a new drivers side jet
  3. ^^^^ That's very cool, Shame I can't have a Zed Shed that size
  4. I've got to go with an exhaust issue for the sound, my first thought was that the gasket has gone and possibly melted a wire to the oil sender. However I'd be surprised if the RAC/AA did not notice a blown gasket, it's possible a CAT or a silencer box has failed especially on after-market parts so that would be worth checking as this is the most likely cause of a noise change especially the "sounds like a tractor" bit. Zeds will have higher oil pressure when cold and noticeably lower when hot so it may be you are immediately checking the oil pressure when cold, it should drop back when the engine warms. The pressure sensors do fail and are not the best when working, as ZmanAlex has said to be sure it needs a mechanical gauge put on to test and monitor as it warms. Hope that helps. Keyser
  5. I have no idea, no badges or stickers on the inside, as I said originally they do need a small repair to one of them. Feel free to make an offer
  6. I have legal cover - standard add on up to £1M cover - I don't think they will actually pay out that much though, luckily I've never had to use it. Key Loss - Covers all keys as long as the Tag they supply is attached and covers the recoding of car keys Protected NCB Guaranteed Value - Bit like Gap Insurance but it's a set price in the event of loss or write off Can't give an accurate cost as I've changed from the modified 370 to the GT-R which cost £60 more but part of that was an "admin charge" May look around at renewal as I have been limited to companies that will insure modified cars. You must have a good postcode your 911 is about the same as the wife's qashqai
  7. I know nothing about electronic drum kits but just wanted to say - I liked the snappy thread title and Good luck with the drumming mate
  8. OK Then as you have all put on weight just by looking at the pictures above sit back and digest the small amount of progress made - I finished off the front suspension arms and removed the frame - Then a test fit Added the ARB carriers and the ARB Then I took it all apart and checked the symmetry (big word for me ) Well happy with that just need to trim the top plate That done I went onto the rear frame that I hadn't finished. After measuring up wrong (I'm only human) the rear spring hangers had to be moved leaving a bit of a hole Made a fill in piece weld and clean up (you'd never know I cocked up More Soon Keyser Maximum Effort (to burn of all the calories)
  9. OK lets just clear a few things up here - No it's not finished yet!! No more tools built (I have done a bit on the chassis though) It has nothing to do with mince pies ............................... Why you ask? well you have this available where I was for Christmas So instead of mince pies I'd have breakfast Then desert then as its Christmas another desert That set me up nicley to go look at stuff like - So that's why it is not finished and why it has nothing to do with to many mince pies - possibly to many banoffee waffles or chocolate pancakes but not mince pies A more car related update may follow soon if I can roll myself over to the camera with the pics on it Keyser Maximum Calories
  10. I have no idea what the locking receive looks like or where it is but I kept a lot of the wiring loom ECU, fuse boxes BCM etc so I may have it - can you point me in the direction. Should have the AF sensor - problem is I have a pile of 4 - any idea how we tell them apart as I didn't label it
