See http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/82528-vortech-v2-kit-reduced-to-clear-grab-a-bargain/page__st__20#entry1250797 for latest -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi everyone, If anyone is thinking of going the FI route I may have a few bits that will help them on there way The kit is NOT out of the car yet so I will need a few weeks to get it all stripped but that gives you time to - a. Think of an excuse to tell the other half why you need this in your life b. Save a few pennies from the next pay packet. c. Come and see it working, no oil leaks and plenty of boost I have a V2 Vortech Supercharger complete with all pipes, hoses and clamps, front mount IC, blow off valve and it does include the 1 piece top pipe (polished) which both looks nicer and doesn't leak like the stock setup. In addition and also included in the price I have the following items - APS Plenum APS Strut Brace (modified to fit with the SC) Rare JDM cover (modified to fit the APS brace) Oil cooler complete with pickup plate and pipes A set of 6 440cc Nismo Injectors (I never used them but they should be spot on) Ally Rad Set of 3 SAGA Gauges Oil Pressure, Oil Temperature and Boost - (top 3 in the pic below) The only thing you will have to add is a sump extension/pic up plate for the oil return and an FRS (if you want big numbers) both available from Tarmac There is the original Vortech supplied fuel "loop" system it is brand new and never used to my knowledge but it is at least 2 years old and has been stored in a cardboard box in a garage, it may work it may not but I will throw it in anyway, most would got for an FRS with a new 255lh pump or similar though, although mine ran without any fuel return for the first 6 months of my ownership before I put the built engine in. Job lot at the special forum price of £4000.00 (Plus shipping but if you collect I will do that for free ) The lucky buyer can also have an option on the Haltech piggy back ECU currently running this setup for £500.00 Any Questions feel free to ask

Fiber glass underneath at least - with a little dip so the filler is a bit thicker (unless your going to weld it?) - that should also water proof it for you, then filler and a respray to hide completely

I quite like that You can put wheel sealant on - weather it would do any good and what it would smell like I'm not to sure Hi heat lacquer may be a better option?
-
It will be fine - well mine was when I did exactly the same thing The SC pipes push the AC pipe so close to the drive belts it rubs then eventually wears through I have re routed and zip tied my new pipe out of the way so as not to repeat the problem. In the meantime (about 4 months) I just turned the AC off left the belt on. Replaced the pipe popped into the garage for a re-gas everything worked fine again

Wheel bearing sounds like a good bet - they usually get louder when you corner - so try cornering the idea is it loads the bearing thereby increasing pressure and the noise - doesn't always work, but worth a try

Who has needed camber adjustment kits after lowering and spacing?
Keyser replied to gstraw's topic in 370z General
It depends on the setup you go for and how much you lower it - some have claimed to do a 25mm drop and had enough adjustment in the standard setup to get it "in spec" others have needed the arms and/or bolts to get it back. The front is the hardest if you need a lot of adjustment as the only option is upper arms and they are not cheap. As for arms and bolts - if you only have a small drop bolts OR arms a big drop you may need both. Mine is lowered and I added adjustable everything and they had no problem setting the alignment up, Buster had to get rear camber arms (which came with the bolts) when he first did his (really low) as there was not enough adjustment - that was rear only though the front was OK. -
This won't help either then - I like the G37, they look classy as well IMO at least. Good luck with whatever you go for

Doughnuts It was Jam Tarts today - after all it was a Sunday (supplied by Buster as well )

Ahh the solution to all tyre problems - the credit card You can make a set of part worn tyres last a whole day on track - don't go over 80 on the straights brake early and no fast corners In other words on a hot day on track with hard driving 1mm of tread is probably not going to make it a fun day out, don't forget you have to drive home after and if you melt them that's not going to be a fun trip either! I run 888's on track but not on road so the MPSS would be a better shout if your doing both

and Congrats -
Very Nice I think you should keep both
-
Should have text me we could have met up - always next week though Were you out bedding in that new suspension and testing those awesome brakes?
-
To be fair Matt did not try for the caravan he used the excuse that his clutch has only done 68 miles and is not bedded in yet.
-
@ 350 Russ - Same spoiler mate @ GMB they do seem to get lower - the roadster is stock me and Buster are close but usually the side skirts on his make it look a bit lower - although he has raised it 5mm since it was slammed as he can't get to the Zed Shed - anyone that has been down the private road at my place will understand (its got worse with the recent wet weather!!)
-
We finished the last couple of bits on Matt's Zed this morning and then went out for a spin to celebrate, started in a pub in the new forest and then stopped for some pics on the way back Drivers and co drivers - This came along to taunt Matt But he seems happy anyway Great weather and a great day
-
Nice work and looks good mate, should feel like a new ride after the alignment is done
-
As long as you have the tape like last time I'll be fine
-
Sounds like a good day Will I'll be struggling to keep up in Wales now
-
Just had a nice hot shower after a day in the Zed Shed with lots of doughnuts Mmmmmmmm Someone left with a big smile on his face I'm sure he will be along later with the pics etc - May be a while as he is "test driving" it may be a long test, I think he missed her
-
If Matt starts dancing like that he is banned from the Zed Shed!!!!! Kettles on, see you soon
-
I think he is doing really well few more days they will be ready for paint Sorry Ian Looking good mate - lot of hours in there
