Dug this out of the Shed today - on closer inspection it may have been used the control unit almost defiantly has, I have never really looked at it before and the previous owner said he never used it The box is starting to fill

You just like reading my build threads Yes I have a Mini to finish - also a loft conversion and a 350 Roadster to do - If I was doing them I probably wouldn't be dithering about what I should / should not be doing / buying My life is on hold at the moment everything is waiting for something else to happen - then you find yourself on Piston Heads, next thing you know your looking at GTR's Nice to hear everyone's opinions though Knowing me I'll do nothing for a while then make a decision and have to live with it EDIT: Or copy Ian and change my car more often than my socks

We appear to be on the same wavelength Col and Vansman - But that really doesn't help That's exactly what floats my boat and it's my Hobby as well, I'm lucky enough to have a nice big garage right out side my door with lots of tools at my disposal, Due to family and work commitments combined with spending 12 years globe trotting I rarely go on holiday abroad - I rarely go on holiday Of course this then loops me back round to - yes but if you get a GTR what are you going to do to it other than service it? It comes out of the factory with a top speed over 190mph and I doubt I would be able to do much to improve the handling as the car is way beyond me to push to the limits ................... So a 370 then - yes I can do that stick some FI on, a nice body kit followed by a nice coat of GREEN paint. it would look great go like stink and I could say "I built that" but hang on take the cost of buying the 370 and all the bits and I've spent as much as a GTR that would still out perform the finished 370 ..... Keep the 350 then ....... been there done that and got the wife's to do next and if I'm going to build hers then I need a built engine and a supercharger and supporting mods - easy £15K so why not keep the £15k put my bit's in hers and add that money to the pot to buy a GTR? - Now start reading again from "Of course this then loops me back round to" That is about where my brain is - It's good to talk FEEL MY PAIN

@ Tony.r123 - That's what wraps are for Yup it's purely the cost of buying it, not so worried about running costs but not sure I can justify £40 - £50k sitting outside depreciating I managed less than 3000 miles in my Zed last year and that includes Wales. It is on my list though - I have done the 911, which was my aim before 40 I have built a custom Jap another box ticked, I still love playing with the 350's (and it looks like I will be doing another complete rebuild soon) But I would like to say I had owned a GTR before I get to the "otherside" I also like the 370 and that is more affordable not the right word - justifiable I suppose, but my 350 will out run any stock 370 so it sort of becomes doing it because you can not because I want to - and besides I'd soon spend enough on the 370 to make up the difference to a GTR anyway The truth is I don't need a car the problem is I am a petrol head and WANT REALLY REALLY WANT a car if you know what I mean?

Just 1 of the variables to consider - I would say not that high on the list though A lot of it is earmarked already, so that is not a major concern to be honest, Of course it would mean I had a BGW with no home

What makes you think I only have 1 oil cooler? That is true I have 2 - currently need to keep 1 though I thought I would offer this up as complete package for someone and make my life easier. If all else fails I will split

Answers on a postcard please The truth is I have no idea, so many ideas so many options and although I know what I fancy doing even I can't justify it in my own little brain, So to be honest I am not 100% sure just yet - but do not fear Mrs Keyser still has a 350z and has BIG plans for that (she said I can borrow it if I do the work lucky me ) so I will not be leaving the fold in the near future whatever happens. The NOS is up as I hardly ever use it and I don't actually need it - It is fun though The SC if it sells then great if it doesn't I will simply re think. I have so many ideas and so many options I need to get a few things actually nailed down, it's one thing to say "I can always sell that" and another to actually sell something for the right price! Lets just say I've spent a lot of time on auto-trader and Piston heads lately PS. I am currently debating weather I should tell you lot what I can't justify not sure I can handle the abuse

Depends on how you do the install, some wiring is required plus the bottles need mounting - the time is in making it all neat and hidden other than that it is just wires and pipes nothing particularly complicated to do.

I have a welder - well 4 to be precise It's all well and good welding plates on and of course it can be done but for little holes like that I would just use fiber glass - the paint will burn off when welded and then its sand down and primer to make sure the rust does not get in. It's not like it's structural or anything - having said that the down-force on those BGW's you are all getting we may have to weld some angle iron in to stop the whole boot caving in Just saying

Well I have just the thing for that a complete Wizards of NOS kit complete with a MAX Extreme controller 2 x 5lbs bottles both with heaters, a pressure gauge and the all important Big Red button Again the kit is still in the car and will be a couple of weeks before removal but you get everything that comes out of my 350z, pipes switches controller, bottles the lot! Bolt it onto yours, visit the tuner of your choice and your good to go Everything for the bargain price of £1000.00 Plus postage and packing or as always collection is preferred and FREE! NB - If these are shipped the bottles will be 100% empty with the valves in the open position!!!! If you collect there may be a drop left (but I doubt it ) I'm sure there will be a few questions so fire away
