yer next time you come down for a quick job best book 2 nights at the local travel lodge
Good to meet you and glad we got that simple? little problem sorted
Can't wait to see the pics
3,800KM That is delivery mileage what is it at now?
No idea how you get an exact year VQ35DE is 02 (JDM) to 06 with a couple of late registered 07's having them.
Not even sure if you can do it by VIN if not a UK car
EDIT: Import certificate usually show original date of manufacture - suppose you didn't get that?
Kudos for having a go mate
OK IIRC the top hose and air box need to come out the OEM shroud has 2 electrical connectors that unclip and there are 2 bolts at the top then it leans back and lifts out (I'm doing this from memory so may have missed something)
The new Mishimoto then fits in reverse order - you should get some sponge tape with the kit that you run down the edges - stops it rattling.
Wire it up do you have the wiring diagram? (you have to convert a 6 wire to a 4 wire system)
You do not need to solder you will have to cut the loom up though - I used crimp on bullet connectors so it can be removed - solder is better than twisting wires together but that will work with heat shrink - but you will have to cut them if you ever want to take it out!
Replace top hose and air box top up with water should be good to go
Check for air locks
Does the 350z window fit on V35 350gt? I didnt think our cars were that similiar? if it does that is amazing!!
going to google now and double check!
I hope so - if it does let me know and I'll go check the 350 Aladdin's cave of parts to make sure there is one there in good nick
Thanks man... think il need to hunt down a zed if all else fails and take some measurements.
The doors look similar but the handles are different - the window motors appear to be the same - not much help but a start.

If its a stock motor I'd start at the plugs.
If it's been modified I'd be looking at timing and or fueling
Only Honda I ever owned was a motorbike though
OWNED.
Don't you start!
I was doing mine for paint and a steam cleaner would not do that is where I was coming from the fact that there were better ways of just cleaning it never crossed my tiny mind

Lazy sod
Alright smartie pants who asked you to put up sensible ideas and make me look silly
To be fair that is a really good idea as it won't give the pitting that a sandblaster does will clean between the fins and should get all the oil and crap off. Folow that with a bit of metal polish should come up well.
