  1. Can't say you are afraid to have a go Looks better than my first attempts as well Looking good mate, your mixing area looks like mine - the only extras I have is 2 big plastic milk bottles and a wilkinson plastic mixing bowl. The milk bottles are for gun wash - I found it doesn't dissolve them - some plastics it will, I use the mixing bowl to take the gun apart in and wash it out properly. The other thing I have is an old drill with a whisk attachment (stolen from the wife's food processor) makes mixing the paint/primer easy. Keep the updates coming - I have actually done something paint related on mine so I will get a post up soon

    FUSE BOX

You don't need to lift the carpet - fuse box is right of the accelerator pedal under a flap that as Mr G said you just push the clip and it opens. Also a fuse box BEHIND the battery you need to remove the battery cover and behind the battery you will see a black half roundish cover it slides up and off that has loads of fuses and is a PITA to get at. There is of course a small fues board and relay holder just in front of the battery but that is easy to check. Unlikely for you but the positive terminal is also fused, the fuse links can be viewed easily - but these are main fuses and a lot more would not be working.
  3. Good luck on the hunt mate You could always try a 370 as a replacement
  4. PM's replied to - sorry they have sold. Mods please lock
  5. We just used a hammer on Grundy's and beat the boot till it was level - cheapest solution
  6. Especially when you tell them that the shock wave that went through the bumper did some engine damage and you have to have a new 2JZ fitted, when they say "a what???!!?" just shrug and say "I dunno either but its £8k" All joking aside - hope that it is sorted and put to bed in a quick and painless fashion
  7. I would say ECU but it works when cool - so I am going with - It's a JDM so it had an aftermarket alarm added when imported to the UK - there is some bits of wiring and additional circuitry behind the clocks to sort MPH from KPH - I recon this is causing the problem when hot - had a problem with one before that would turn the hazard warning lights on when hot and the fans came on for no reason. We took it apart - remade the connections and moved some bits around so the didn't get squeezed by the dial surround - end of problem.
  8. That sucks Col - hope you get sorted without to much agro.

    MPG!

I do feel spoiled - but "The Bitch" is now retired from road use - she may make 1 more appearance on track before she is stripped down

    MPG!

You need a supercharger and NOS to get my sort of fuel consumption!! I have a bigger problem now - Which SC Zed should I take out tomorrow the 50 or the 70 - O the dilemma
  12. Keyser

    MPG!

Meh double figures - I got 6.5mpg on a day out round coomb - The average for the day - including the 70 miles up and back was 12mpg But boy was it a fun day out
  13. If your getting it in the front foot well have a look under the wiper blades - take of the wipers and remove the 2 panels at the bottom of the windscreen, on the passenger side there is the inlet for the air con and it has a shroud built into the cover - this is a flimsy design and may be broken - worth a look
  14. Sounds like it is sold to Keyser That's for a 350 - I have a 370 OK OK I have both but not adding anything else to the 50
  15. Does this mean there is a for sale thread coming soon?
  16. Awesome mate - Nice to see it coming along - I can't shout I'm well behind on my projects at the moment Keep the updates coming
