Great Place to live As said above property is expensive (or can be) and we pay a premium for things like parking in town and at the beach as the "tourist" rates apply all year - the trade off is the beaches of Poole and Bournemouth have not fallen out of the top 10 cleanest in the last decade or so and are usually found in the top 5. Add to that the New Forrest only a few minutes drive from my house and it is very pleasant. Again as said above the tourists don't know all the best spots and can be avoided at high seasons, if you head inland from Bournemouth towards Blandford or Salisbury there are some lovely little villages to live in, very rural but with easy access by car to major routes and towns. I love it down here - but that may just be me

Supposed to - anything with Hid has to have them - that being said most of the aftermarket bumpers do not have them - mine included - but I have never failed an MOT for not having them I was going to just add a couple of jets and a small pump from something like a mini if it ever became a problem.

I also work in computers and I'm with Longsh07 - if I'm waiting for something or if I'm waiting for a client to do something then I may have a quick look on here - I keep one of my 4 screens just for the purpose -
Looked at a very similar setup to this for someone else (but never did it) they were going to use a kit made for a 200SX - it would have taken the rear brembos straight on but the plate would have needed work to fit the hub. The basic idea is the same add another cailiper to the rear disk and plumb it to a separate hydro hand brake lever - In this instance (a second lever for hydro) the current cable handbrake would remain perfectly functional. Well as much good as it is now Dunno if that helps at all

Looking very clean I hope you washed your toothbrush out again after - WD40 will taste terrible

Excessive drag overloaded the engine putting so much strain on it that it gave up - remove BGW and silly wide wheels - problem solved As I already said - bad luck mate but she can be fixed, no doubt we will be speaking soon

Sorry that went ages ago - not much of this one left now.

I don't know much about the JWT kit but 550 would be the minimum on injectors I was running 725 - also depends on power you are after, but on a stock engine you should be safe on 550 You need a built engine for best returns lower comp pistons and crank up the boost Good luck with it.
-
If the block is good - minimum is a hone probably have it re-bored +.5 to 96mm (thats what I had) Not sure what kit you were looking at from Z1 but pistons and rings as well as rods etc can be sourced fairly easily. You will want ARP bolts and something like ACL bearings. Get the crank balanced while you are at it. Cams will help an N/A build, your gonna need to add an uprev licence and some dyno time in to keep it all running sweet. Simon had some cams and pistons up for sale a while ago - dunno if they are still there ?? Cosworth plenum is but looses power on an N/A build so look at the Kinetix, APS tall boy or just a spacer. You should be close to getting it in on a £5k budget if your doing the labour yourself.

If you're thinking of having an engine rebuild rather than buying a second hand motor like I linked then one person to speak to that springs to my mind is Keyser. Here is his build thread; http://www.350z-uk.c...date-25th-july/ I'm sure he could give you a few pointers. Me?? I know nothing It's a tough one to answer - If your not going to to something silly like a 2JZ or LSx engine swap don't change the engine as Alex (who has more experience than me) has said it is not cost effective and you get very little gain (yes the HR has more poke on paper) As to new engine or rebuild, cheapest option (especially if like me you have the facilities and mates) is an engine swap. Always a chance you will get a bad motor though - as Luke did a while back Go to a reputable source and you should be OK on that one though. Engine rebuild - will cost more even if you do it yourself but you should have an "as new" engine when finished - forged internals etc a great idea but you need a good idea of where your going, if your adding a turbo later you want lower comp pistons etc for an SC build maybe slightly lower than stock but you can stay at stock ratio if you want just run lower boost. I'm going to be looking at something on Mrs K's roadster soon as that uses oil so gonna have to do one or the other myself, although I do have 3 spare (broken) engines to rebuild if I go that way Good luck whatever you decide mate
