  1. Nice one - well done on getting her running again Nice suspension as well
  2. I see that as the Ferrari being at fault - the best bit is the poor innocent motorist that gets rear ended, do you recon that last spin to turn the car and coast into the hard shoulder was intentional? If it was he/she was well with it - if not it looked cool But probably not much of a consolation after getting rammed from behind while minding your own business. EDIT: Not that as said above they weren't both pushing their luck on a busy public road!!
  3. Is it a convertible or hard top? What year is it? We're looking at 08 hardtop models at the moment 54 plate hard top. from what Lee says (above) you will be OK on the newer shape post 06 Thought I would mention it though, it's being a right PITA for him. @Humpy - Maybe it is his wife and he is looking for the fault in the wrong place
  4. My mate just got his wife a TT - it leaks (passenger side carpet is always wet) and apparently that's common - could be only on earlier models Worth a quick Google though just to be sure
  5. Exactly my first thought.
  6. The gearbox - it's heavy If you have done a rear wheel drive car's clutch before then it is not a particularly hard job nothing major to watch out for on these No special tools just a universal clutch alignment tool or a socket extension and some tape Change the spigot bearing while you are in there
  7. Congrats mate Deffo go with Mrs Busters idea
  8. They look crap - won't suit the Zed at all - best just drop them off with me and forget the whole idea OK OK I admit they look good
  9. Just caught up on this - looking good mate If you give it a coat of bright Green paint it will look nearly as good as the dash I did
  10. That's where you are going wrong - I had to take Ian for a McDonalds when he delivered my supercharger
  11. O it's bloody you is it???? Bloody do gooders slowing me down on the way to work! I mean it's bad enough I have to work on a Saturday without you "doing the right thing" and possibly sacrificing your car in the name of humanity!!! Come on spare a thought for us "don't care at all" guys n gals who just have to get to the till at the shop - after all it's a matter of life and death for us!!!!!!!! Well done for your efforts mate Haters gonna hate and it is quite scary to see just how many people have the type of attitude I describe above.
  12. As I recall you have already sat in the drivers seat though Defo get a day sorted for the summer happy to try snetterton on a warm day with no fog or the GT circuit at Bedford is a good one - if I can keep the noise down Me and Andy James are up for it and there may be a few others from this end that will come along
  13. The complete last session the only edit is where the GoPro stopped and started again other than that it is Pit lane start to back in the pits - Enjoy - or ignore but please remember I went out there for you lot to get this video with not a thought for my own personal health and safety. - The things I do for you lot
  14. No worries Andy - As we said the other day we will get one together in the spring when it's a bit warmer! - I did think you had the right idea at lunch time when I was stood there shaking Somewhere between 400 and 500HP per ton - it depends on what the engine is actually putting out I have no dynos estimates are from 220HP to 275HP and the Radical comes in at around 550KG (depending on which spec sheet you read)
  15. It's a 1300 Hayabusa engine bored to 1500 built by RPE (Radical Performance Engineering) That is hooked up to a quaife LSD differential made specifically for Radical (has reverse as well Well it is my first time in her, it was raining in the morning and damp and slippy out there, although I know combe quite well and the instructor said my lines were good but he is only and ARDS qualified touring car champion so I will bow to your superior knowledge in these matter O and from a quick check of my lap times from the video I'm 3 seconds quicker in the Radical against the best time I set in the 350 - can't wait for a warm summers day and a set of slicks Errr no no quite on the limiter - maybe with a bit of practice and some testosterone injections I'll get there - You need to get in this one with me - makes the Frogster look quite tame in comparison Most definitely - as Andy James said these track focused cars are awesome to drive but they can bite you in the ar$e if your not careful - as I found out today little bit to much right foot a fraction to early and off we went - but it is a real learning experience. (of course I'll never get up to GT4 Zed's level of excellence but I can keep trying )
  16. £179 for me £5 for the passenger - so the expensive day!!!! But I had to get one in before the end of the year as the furthest I'd driven the Radical before that was round the car park at Snetterton This was about the only 1 near me that I could squeeze in and the weather is getting colder - to be honest we nearly sacked it at lunch time as we were chilled to the bone but we sat in the truck with the engine running over lunch and warmed up - then as forecast the sun made an appearance Believe me I really, really, really needed to know if she actually ran or I had just blown a lot of money on a dud - when I bought her I didn't have a test drive - not many race tracks to try it out on in the middle of the Lake District Very Happy Bunny at the moment
  17. After a failed day at Snetterton due to fog I was determined to get one track day in my new toy before the end of the year, so I took a chance and booked Castle Combe for today - morning was damp cold and slippery with several drivers having offs - Including my little excursion through the infield - backwards at 70 + MPH Brown trouser moment!! As well as a beautiful drift out of the first chicane - well if I'd meant to do it then it would have been beautiful But no damage done and in the after noon the sun came out we got some heat in the tyres and I found out what a Radical can do - That is scare me to death!!!! In the nicest way possible of course - little 1 lap appetizer for you while I edit the days footage
  18. So if you text your wife to say meet me in Tesco / retail park car park after work (organize a meet) and she does - you get arrested then. The injunction prohibits two or more vehicles gathering in the combined local authority area if your son in law comes along to pick a present for his wife / your daughter then you probably get hung as well
  19. Nice to see you getting it back together A tube of molyslip in the gearbox when you top it back up will do you no harm and it does tend to make the shifts a littler slicker
  20. Don't worry about downloading it - just watch/listen to it on YouTube - Apparently it's gone viral!
