I've lived out there - they wash the streets every night with huge water bowsers, I don't mind that except they live in a desert - we get hose pipe bans and we live on a little island surrounded by water - does my head in!

I would like to make a sensible comment on this thread and show I have an informed opinion about these matters, Unfortunately I own a nice car and am therefore by default an idiot and unable to make said informed opinion - which is probably a good thing because again by virtue of the nice car rule I am also a complete @rse so would no doubt offend you all. So instead of making comments I am off to buy something nice to add to my collection of nice things which I will then count - this is due to the materialistic nature I have also been cursed with since owning a nice car. Of course I will be OK when "they" all buy nice cars because at the point "they" (the haters) all buy nice cars it will be "the right thing" and in no way materialistic/offensive/and they (therefore we) will all be excellent drivers

Thank You 2nd on here to comment on that, my dad used to be in the fuel industry and when they took over a petrol station and put the new signage up he would try and get the old ones - he had quite a few at one point, I have no idea what happened to the rest but this one was still in a box in the spare room so I thought I would put it in the man cave, I like it and it reminds me of dad when things were better. So it is a genuine glass original - I was surprised to see that plastic replicas are over £100 on eBay Some of the rarer ones are up for silly money!
