I know this is off topic - but it's my thread OK Camera as was - New settings Settings I used in the garage New settings Tweaked some more settings white balance only changed in macro mode I have found some of the settings stay changed when you turn the camera off and some don't - or I have not been changing them properly - I would read the manual - but I'm a bloke and can't be bothered Anyway see how I do tomorrow with the new settings

Stick to cars and modifying, cameras are so not your thing. Even on the cheap it's gone very bad. Let me sort this "blue" problem out....... Maybe it's in tune with the release of 50 shades or something? That's grey May have found the problem Just doing some tests - will post the results

No, let's get this right, green tried to be blue but it just never lasted. Chris just joined the groovy gang Careful mate - GREEN ROCKS and I still have my hammer if you disagree

You can sod off as well! Leave me a lone it's the fecking cameras - all of them - I'm gonna take some with the DSLR tomorrow just to prove it
-
0 That won't be a problem - have to be indoors then everything comes out blue - you will be as happy as a pig in shite

That's the new one - everyone complained the old one was out of focus so I got a new one - I have had problems before with the lights in the garage - they are huge flood lights that NeilP got me - great for light but they do seem to mess with the camera - outside pics are fine in "auto" mode it's just indoor shots suck I shall keep trying @ Ekona - You can find everything in the Zed Shed - we have Wall Boards all labeled with sizes and even the 3 main tool boxes have the draws labeled - One of the perks of having a wife with OCD I'll even get you some pics tomorrow - they may be blue or out of focus but I will get them just for you @marzman - Blue is my new colour - but still want the pics to be - well normal It should not be this hard REALLY!!!!!

Suzanne the LS3 6.2 V8! Caution very long build thread....
Keyser replied to Wasso's topic in Member Build Projects
I'm not Sure Wasso thought the note on his windscreen was a funny as the rest of us So just to make him feel better we (Buster was here as usual) washed the dust off Suzi for you Then we jacked her up to have a look under her skirt so to speak Prop shaft measurements taken - so will be off down to the machine shop next week with the parts Also put the drivers seat back in for now, if I get a chance tomorrow I will pop the dials out -
I decided that the Zed Shed needed to be cleaned and tidied after stripping Wasso's Zed and changing the suspension on a golf last weekend - not to mention a lof of dust from the pillar pod project I thought I would take pics to try out the settings on the new camera some more Here it is in Blue - don't ask me why - that is auto everything on the so called point and shoot camera and it goes blue Spend the day cleaning - leave the camera as is and Perfect pictures - is it really me O hang on take a pic of the new Radio Shelf and we are back to blue and it's stays like that from outside if you put Wasso's car back in I give up

Few more top coats - Finished and ready to go in the oven (airing cupboard) to dry - it looked better than this but the camera went off on one - to get the pics inside I change the balance to "tungsten" need to change it to "daylight" for outside it seems Any way will be having a test fit tomorrow
-
I don't know why Mr G thinks I would be in the Zed Shed on a Saturday - But I was So taking you a step further in my inability to take a decent photo - Started with the pod looking like this first thing today Flated down and ready for the first top coat and a close up in focus just because I can I am using this recommended by Buster Matt Finish in dark Grey First coat on Not perfect so let it dry and re-sanded the bit's I was not happy with Then Buster and I found the new camera has a selfie mode - so we tried it More in a mo -

I had 11:1 in my built engine with an SC and I got detonation - we added a water meth injection system the cooling effect of this was enough to drop the inlet temps sufficiently to eliminate the det. If you run high boost you may get problems but as said above with an SC the boost is not huge and it is manageable.

Just cause we have a library no need to take the proverbial

Its a good point and I do have the app on my phone - but I leave the phone in the house when spraying as at £300 + for a smartphone I'm not risking that either. Basically the camera needs to be almost disposable which is why I use £20 ones if I drop a gearbox on it I won't loose any sleep - start smashing up £200+ bits of kit and I will be annoyed to put it mildly. The basic feed back is - use a cheap camera - get crap pics. So what I thought is I could take a pencil and paper out with me and draw you all pics so you know what is happening - like they do in a court case

I echo the comments above - great job polishing it all up As to the other bit - well that just sucks
