  1. I'll join the reserve list 1)terry06 2)flyn 3)kingrob 4)Keyser - Although apparently I'm already going and gonna eat all the food at the picnic
  2. I would say you have 2 problems, 1. the knocking over bumps is mots probably the banana arms or the bushes in them do a quick search on here you will find loads of info. They are notoriously hard to find as worn even on a ramp you need to look it up in the manual and use a bar on the suspension arm to prove play is present. 2. Tick over tick - most likely a fuel damper - can be replaced easily or ignored if the car is running sweet. Put your hand lightly on the fuel rail and see if the tick is in time with the fuel pulse. Report back with your findings EDIT: - I see ATTAK Z was in first
  3. Other than the front wings I like the kit Doubt I'll see one up close and personal with that price tag though
  4. I'm with GT4 Zed here mate - fitted a few where we had to adjust the catch and also shorten the rubber bump stops on the bonnet - they screw in and out to adjust the length that may help
  5. This of course assumes that it not on the drive due to the owner blowing the engine limping home and never getting round to fixing it, in which case a new battery, plugs and tyres are not gonna do a lot of good You need to speak to the owner and establish if it is for sale, if so why it is parked up and then how much. You may get lucky and get a bargain you may not but if you don't ask you will never know
  6. Funny this should come up - not because I want 4 speakers in my door - although I just put 4 gauges in my pillar But because I fancy a shot at one of those custom interior fits for a couple of big subs in the back with custom made moldings - you will be pleased to know this is not in the back of the 370z - well not yet anyway, going to practice on the project car first
  7. along You won't get much advice on not buying a Zed here Unless the old uns see this and start praising the merits of jags
  8. I was going to say if we bought Grundy one he could power the forum - but then I thought no you can't say that it shoulc be if we got Grundy one he could power the Internet Grundy just kidding
  9. I agree when I had the 350z went out on a rainy day and got 17mpg the following time I went to castle coomb it was dry and I was back to the more usual 12mpg
  10. I have a spare alternator if you get stuck
  11. Looking good PM me your address I'll post you a couple of spare cover bolts I'm sure we have a dozen or so spare in the Zed Shed
  12. I agree looks better that way round I have know idea what the alignment is with the body, the wheels or the anything else but it definitely looks right now Is that Mig or Tig - I assumed TiG but the welder in the pic looks like a Mig Great work and still following with interest keep up the good work.
  13. Few years back we had something similar - turned out to be a mistake in the number plate but it was a nightmare! Ignored the first letter called and explained it was nothing to do with us from the second letter and the 3rd letter, then got a letter saying they were proceeding with the case and as we had sent no reply they would find us liable - I went ape - customer complaints, manager senior manager etc etc When the call finally came back from a manager they said there were 2 discrepancies - the number plate of the car involved was 1 digit different to ours and the car involved was blue - ours was silver Eventually got it cleared up - followed up on it as it was a real nightmare and got £200 in compensation
  14. Suspension changes are :- Eibach Springs Eibach "sway bars" ARB's Eibach rear camber arms I have Buster to thank for that stance - I put 11" J rear wheels on and Buster takes them back off and adds 20mm spacers!!!!!! Must say though she does look spot on - I would have gone for 15mm rears but we didn't have a spare set of those about Yes thanks for that mate I always said it was the camera all those shots were taken with the Canon DSLR - See how you feel about my photos when I get the "NEW" Garage camera out As I have gone up to an 11" J rear I went for 285/35 - 19 on the rear and 245/40 -19 on the front MPSS all round - not cheap wasn't sure what tyre to go for but they seem to be good for a lot of members on here, They didn't do the Toyo in the size I wanted the pirelli is stupidly expensive, I was going to go with yokohama but after having them on the "Bitch" I found the rear wear to be poor (I could live with that) but they were not impressive putting the power down in the wet - so MPSS it is -see how I get on with them. Thanks for all the Positive comments everyone More changes in the pipeline Nearly there though (yer right)
  15. Come on look closely .............. Still not see it??? The Number Plate has changed

  17. Looking really good mate Except I am an eyelid hater - but hey if we all liked the same thing how boring it would be - still like the rest of it and though - spot on
