    REO 2018

To clarify this is what it looks like at the moment as I understand it. But agree its not immediately clear. REGION REO BACKUP East Anglia None East/West Midlands Mopedmark Davey83 London/South East Payco North East Rickdon North West Spatt Northern Ireland KyleR Scotland Irn Bru South Central Keyser South West Choptop Wales None
  3. See I would have put Rogue One above both of the new SW films. It was so focused, so raw and sequences of action, information, reflection etc. came thick and fast. I agree with Stu that this film was much more like the prequels all a bit too fluffy, colourful and CGI based.

    REO 2018

Good morning As I am sure you are all aware, the events that get organised through the forum are one of the many advantages to being on here. We have a number of members putting in the time to organise meet ups and events over the last couple of years, some of whom will be moving on from that role so thank you to: @AmyZed @buster @370Ad and @Ian for your efforts So we do have some openings and I am looking for people who are willing to step into their boots and help organise meets/events in the following two regions: - East Anglia - Wales If you are in the area, and are keen to take up a more active role in organising meets then please PM me. You will of course be supported by the forum and of course we supply liability insurance for any meets you organise on here. If you are living in another region and would like to lend support, we do have support positions available for other regions, especially if you are in Scotland or the south of England. Again if you are interested in supporting any of the current REOs please PM me and we can take it from there. Cheers and happy zedding in 2018 Col
  5. Went to see this at the weekend, premium seat, 3d, centre placing etc. was all set for over 2 hours of star wars mayhem. And was a little disappointed...started really well, slowed down far too much in the middle, then the end really kicked on but a few things really bothered me...spoiler alert so only click if you have seen the film! Anyway, it was a good bit of entertainment but nowhere near the 90%+ Rotten Tomatoes critics are giving it.
  6. ...Oi! Go easy on those 4 pot turbos!
  7. All your EV car updates in future can be placed here
  8. Rather than have multiple threads about every update to EV cars, all your wonderful EV thoughts can be posted here, I have pinned it to make it easier to find - please keep it dignified and constructive.
  9. No not at all I don't know what you mean...and that the successful entrepreneur Musk announced earlier this year that they will be skipping beta testing for the Model 3 to try and get it out on the shelf and actually earn the company some money. And that NASA saved SpaceX from extinction ten years ago with a near $2bn contract to keep it going. Yes, he's done it all on his own, that showed everyone
  10. Its amazing what $5bn of state funding (along with funding from NASA ironically) can help you achieve as a commercial business
  11. I would imagine the roadster would be an awesome track car if they can get it to handle, I wonder though with the range, Harris noted that it lost 40 miles of range after a bit of spirited driving, maybe I missed it but how much spirited driving was that? Was that after 3 or 4 miles of putting his foot down or much more? It would have been useful to know.
  12. Blimey, check the oil pressure too!
  13. Same here, just freezing rain - although we had a dusting yesterday. The wonders of the protective pollution shield put up across London that prevents snow

    Stubaru BRZ

Just make sure you get on to them quick. The onus is on companies nowadays to not hold personal information for what is deemed 'longer than required' so it could easily be deleted in a few days if the retailer operates that way. But gutted for you, its my one big fear - also agree its plausible it was deliberate but could easily have been an elderly person who slipped as exiting the car and leant the door against it, or a younger child, or even someone who walked around the car to open the door, it was frozen shut, so gave it a tug and... Either way if you can get video evidence and a number plate you are quids in.
  15. Chris does sum it up like many a petrolhead on here at the end - its brutally fast, but it doesn't excite, it 'doesnt light the fuse' and the ride is a bit poor as it tries to deal with the weight. It destroyed that 911 but thats what 600bhp and 700lbft of equivalent power does. Interior looked a bit meh - not a fan of the big screen but can imagine a technogeek would love it.
  16. Could you squeak in a 360 Fezza for under 50k?
  17. Yep as said before, EV for pootling about in doing the mundane stuff like commuting/sitting in traffic/shopping - supercharged Elise for having proper fun.
  18. General feedback over the years has been that the combo of moly and nissan fluid gives a smoother operation than other branded alternatives. I took the hit and bought 4 litres from zmanalex in the end and happy with the improvement.
