  1. Ha don't be so pedantic man Yes the doctor was a complete shock, although he was a background character it was still a bit gutting to see him killed off so easily. Spoiler for Jays sake...
  2. Anyone been watching the second series? Great twist in the most recent episode and explains a lot of the aforementioned issues on this thread.

    A BIG ASK

No problem - enjoyed browsing the metal on view whilst there Also got to sit in a classic big american car and go for a drive was like a school kid Here is the place...as you can see loads to browse around!
  4. Although Stu's tongue in cheek humour up top was exactly that I think it is a genuine point. When we are born we have effectively no proper immune system, our bodies effectively learn what is good and what is bad. Some of that is genetics but some of it is interaction with the environment. Kids nowadays are locked up in super clean environments, going outside less, have access to anti-biotics on tap etc. I remember reading up on asthma when I was younger when my younger brother developed it, interesting story of a scientist looking at the fall of the Berlin wall and studying populations from cities on either side. They tested for asthma in populations in east and west Germany, the eastern city was Liepzig I think which is industrial full of polluting factories but despite the pollution had lower rates of asthma compared to Munich. Funny anecdote - if anyone has watched a sitcom called Early Doors, the old cantankerous guy on it interjects when some of the characters are talking about organic food. He says it all used to be organic in the old days, then they charged you more to put preservatives in to make it last longer, now they are taking it out they are charging you lot even more again!
  5. Thanks for the feedback guys - it is a newsletter as most people have said so it wont be a replacement for coming here. Ideally it will give you a flavour and to get the full monty sign up/log in and then you can go to town. We are keen though for member content, keeps the newsletter fresh and engaged with the membership.

    GT-Four

Woke up this morning to find all sorts of dust on the car thanks to some high winds last night, so wasn't having that. Out came the equipment and set to work. Cleaned up really well the Vics Concours wax I put on before Christmas holding out nicely with plenty of sheeting of course helped by using Bathe+ which is a wonderous shampoo. I had also decided to do a bit of plastidipping, the GT-FOUR alu insert that is underneath the main vent grille in the bonnet was looking a little aged so decided to get some metallic dip and spray it black to make it look neat again and just make the vent a bit more subtle (as subtle as a big bonnet bulge with a hole in it can be). Shiny happy bonnet Black plastidipped grille Yes, I know heat comes through the grille, yes I can see it as I am sat in the car, no it wont melt the plastidip as its rated up to high temperatures.

    GT-Four

Got these chaps in the post today and fitted them. Old Michelin ones had frozen solid too many times and had given up the ghost. Thought about Piaa wipers but would have come out around £60 for a pair which seemed a touch overpriced. These will do the job just fine I am sure...
  9. I think you will need a bit more detail Seb to get any form of commitment. Are you talking about driving there? Flying? If driving ferry? If driving Calais to Warsaw is a 15 hour drive, where are you planning on stopping overnight there and on the way back? Thats four days on the road. What sort of costs are you thinking? Poland is a pretty big country, 'central part' doesn't really explain where it is, do people want to invest time and money into going to somewhere in central Poland? Add much more detail and people might have a view on it...

Is that the one on North Road Richmond? If so its only a few minutes up the road from me....
  17. Is it a case of convincing them you could buy one and taking it for a test drive then!
  18. Sat in an F12 Berlinetta at the Ferrari meet I organised a couple of years back and have to say it is just an immense place to be. Having watched videos of them in action the noise is surreal. Dream car.
  19. 99% of bumpers need blending, if you try short cut this it will bug you forever so definitely do the blending.
  20. Good work. And good on you for doing some maintenance yourself. I remember on a road trip with some guys off here one member did an oil change with nothing but his scissor jack in a premier inn car park
