  1. Then its up to the conspiracy theorists to prove it, not to simply say it 'could be' intelligent life. It could be caused by a swarm of flying ants that made it through the vacuum of space and plowed into the rock forming that odd shape but I have no evidence at all except a far fetched theory. I agree its unlikely we are alone in the universe (assuming it exists as it does blah blah) but lets think about if for a second - intelligent life from an unobserved part of space fly light years across the galaxy and build in effect a wonky looking shed out of rocks on the moon and observe the earth. Its certainly a theory, it certainly aligns with Star Treks prime directive, but its only a theory with no actual sensible reasoning to it. Until its actually proven I am going with the more likely (and much more common occurrence) of naturally occurring not through arrogance but through using the grey matter that separates us from amoeba.
  2. Have you actually watched the videos on you tube on this though? "Oh look there is a pyramid looking thing shape in the middle of a desolate lifeless rock in space it must be aliens!" - the fact that naturally occurring pyramid shaped mountains exist all over planet earth (you can go see these if you like!) is ignored, and that the structures just happen to be exactly the same colour as the rock surrounding them. Type in 'naturally occurring places that look like faces on earth' into google see what pops up - of course if they are seen on the moon, again its aliens. As I mentioned some time back confirmation bias is a prevalent behavioural trait of all conspiracy theorists, they have a theory they want to believe and rather than look at all the evidence they can gather and analyse it objectively, instead looking for single pieces of evidence that supports the theory and disregarding anything contradictory. But still, I get it that people have to have hobbies and passions ours are cars which use tonnes of fuel, expensive to maintain, that makes no sense either!
  3. Its because they had to put black boxes around the earth to block out all the images of the aliens they dont tell us about
  4. I do like these cars though mate nice choice and I do love a red car!
  5. Out of interest is it an auto conversion? Confused by manual looking shift and big brake pedal! Great looking car by the way!
  6. Just got to do the rest of the dash now!
  7. Bump - this has proved really useful for people so will bump it periodically to help people make the most of the forum. It allows you to custom set the feed to most recent posts. Clearly you can customise as you prefer but this should help with anyone new who might have missed it.
  8. Lets keep things civil chaps. Clearly the OP is dealing with the issue in their way. Advice has been (very thoughtfully and thoroughly) given and as ever its up to them to decide what to do with it.
  9. Good luck with it, no easy skill to do that! From what I read its all in the prep and finish, chucking it in the bath is probably the easier bit? How are you going to reach the middle? Presume your bath is more than half the width of the bonnet deep?
  10. That Audio S3 should sound good What about an Evo VI Tommi Makkinen, prices are going nowhere but up at the moment might be a good time to jump on one?
  11. Dare I say it - agree with the lads directly above the AMG back end is stunning, so clean and simple yet has a presence about it without having to scream and shout and throw its arms in the air like the back end of the BMW which has angles pulling you in all directions. Lets hope the Beemer doesnt go all Civic Type R on us
  12. Finished Altered Carbon - really takes a lot of concentration as the story is so multi-dimensional blink and you miss a key link which holds it all together. And getting used to the language as well! But well worth the effort, it has left it open for another series which is good.
  13. The outdoor covers are designed to effectively breath to allow moisture to escape etc. Not sure putting one over an indoor cover would be a good idea?
  14. Good luck everyone drive safe and well done on pizza provision!
  15. That TTS video is brutal. Also looked at the one against the Nismo 370z which again totally drove away from! Didnt realise the S had so much pace.
  16. I did mine on the Celica it's pretty straight forward with rattle cans. Unbolt the wiper arm, remove the wiper, sand down, prime and spray
  17. It can be that way, but often is not (based on my own experience of selling dozens of items with no problems) - like anything in life you can get conned whether its on there, selling on FB, forum, etc. there is always a way. We had a recent post of someone having a problem with a buyer of a laptop and they won the challenge (I think!), so it doesn't always go the way of the buyer.

    GTR raffle

Or just stick £100 on a 700-1 shot and get the cash to buy a GTR and build it to how you want it? A quick google shows a 1200 for sale last year on the GTR forum for £69k coincidentally.
  19. There is a Zed for sale section on the forum, have a look through. Often these are accompanied by build threads which show you the work done over the course of the ownership. You can contact the seller for information, viewing etc. Imports have a stigma around them but a lot of it is unwarranted. Insurers will ask as it historically had a premium put on the insurance but nowadays its much less so if you approach specialist insurers like the ones listed on the forum i.e. Sky, Adrian Flux, Prestige etc.
  20. Welcome along - do have a read through the buyers guides, as much as colour might seem important ensuring you get one with a great service history and record of ownership is as if not more important. Hard to love a car in your favourite colour if its always going wrong and have your father in your ear saying 'told you so'. As Dan (Ekona) said, there are two spec options for UK cars GT and non GT (info can be found on the site on this) plus all the colours listed. The market is slowly filling up with import cars as well, nothing wrong with these (easy to spot with the square number plates assuming they havent been swapped over for UK rectangular ones) but do bear in mind the spec on cars in Japan got more diverse than the two options here. I believe people are responding to your other post - do have a browse on the site though there are lots of useful pinned posts.
  21. "Slime in this ear, slime in that ear, don't you ever yearn for change..." I laughed out loud as that went on for about 5 minutes. I am gutted I never got to see them both live.
