I was going by the nursery rhyme

Well of course! Why wouldn't they - I actually shed a tear for all those that were not chosen and had to sacrifice themselves watching the two lottery winners walk up and onto the boat...

Both play by different rules though right? Science by design has to be wrong as its a journey through discovery will no doubt have to fill the holes with theories until its fully understood. But thats fine as you say Dan. Religion isn't looking to do this from what I see anyway, in that it also has gaps (i.e. the Ark could not have survived at sea with all those animals as they would have all starved and run out of water - even if the dimensions of the Ark were about right and could have floated) but the gaps are filled with divine intervention to fix it. That will never change, it can't really. Science though has to change, by design I think.

You might find prices go up for sports cars as summer approaches as well - there are quite a lot of factors at play.

Is it worth asking if it was bought privately or via a trader? You will always attract premiums with traders.

Meguiars Ultimate Compound in the scheme of things
coldel replied to Gorbash's topic in Car Detailing
Lots of guides on here as you say but a few tips...Don't use a brush on paintwork, or sponges, or chamois leathers! Compound has some effect but its temporary as most are full of fillers that make the paint look good but ultimately wash out (Megs is one of these I believe). Megs stuff is 'okay' but the well respected brands can be bought online, I like to use Polished Bliss as it has free postage and good prices. Also check traders on here who sell detailing products. To get the scuffs (I presume you mean like swirl marks) you will probably need a DA to generate the heat for the compounds/polish to work effectively, unless they are really minor marks. But for simple at home starter where you don't have a hose you can get a good shampoo (I really rate Gyeon Bathe+) clean the car down, then get yourself a clay mitt and use it to get all contaminants off, then you can go through multiple different ways of polishing/waxing loads of products but do both stages and it will look miles better. -
Even renewable energy such as windfarms have environmental effects - there will always be environmental damage, its the scale of it that is different.

EV is cleaner, but not clean. We can as a species cut down on harmful environmental damage but it will always be there in some shape or form which is what I would guess the cartoon is hinting to, that some EV owners think they are 'clean' when in fact they are just 'cleaner' than the common alternative, just not clean.

If you can secure a spot down the side of the car park (not out on the street) as per previous years I should be ok for this

Yes shocker that, he was still working and was on TV doing interviews the other day. Then bang gone. One of the good ones.

Also try not to listen the Facepack crowd where some seem to think these devices let them go faster, change fuelling, remove gear restriction etc.

The throttle controller does exactly what it says on the tin, changes the input of the throttle, it doesn't do anything particularly clever. As afro said, just press the throttle less

And how would that ever be proven? But for debate sake assuming it could be - him coming back to life (as many people do nowadays actually where they spend time without a heart beat) doesn't prove all the other miracles we observe in the writings or the existence of god who created all things. So, would you move over to the true religion?
-
Would I believe in Christianity because science proves Christ exists? No. Because that doesn't prove all the miracles that claim to come with it do also - like we discussed before although the Ark was the right dimensions, boats had been in existence long before that event apparently took place as well as divine intervention sorting out stuff like starvation and drought on board. I suspect there was activities going on at the time which made people desperate for something to believe in create something bigger and more sensational around those activities. So, am I understanding correctly you would believe in something even if it was shown to be based on a falsehood and in fact shown you had chosen the wrong faith where another was shown to be true?

In short and trying to simplify the questions then, even if JC was proven not real, and say Buddha was - you would still be Christian and not become a Buddhist? If not then so it wasn't fair to ask above someone else to believe in Christianity if he was proven to be real?
-
So would you stop being Christian and become a Muslim?
-
I guess the bigger question is if in the near future it was proven Christ wasn't real and the prophet Muhammad is real would you turn to Islam?

Hi mate, I bought an Apeman from Amazon with loads of accessories for about £70 https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01JS00NFE it comes with a spare battery as well which is very handy. Here is a vid of me in the shark tank London aquarium the other day. Change the settings to 720 (it defaults to 360) - I filmed it in higher resolution but YT seems to drop it to 720 for some reason. I haven't owned a go pro before so no comparison to work against but for £70 its something which if you lose it you could swallow the cost a bit better than hundreds for a go pro!

Would I buy a DE over an HR for the road tax difference of a few hundred quid - of course not, that's slightly absurd in my view. Its worth paying the difference for the dipstick location alone..!
-
Agreed you need as much tactile control as possible - you should be spending the maximum amount of time looking out the window not trying to find a control on a touchscreen device.

Although technically not car related, I know Dan @Ekona you asked about the Apeman camera I bought as a cheap option to a go pro. I have to be honest, never really used it much (will do on the upcoming euro road trip I am sure) until last weekend when I decided to snorkel in the shark tank at London Aquarium! The camera came with a waterproof skin you could put the camera in (I did test it under a tap at home before entrusting it to safely look after the camera in the tank!) for underwater shooting, and I have to say given the camera and all the accessories cost something like £70 am happy with the quality of the video it returned. I recorded it in higher definition but YT only lets you go so far for some reason when uploading it 1080p. https://youtu.be/32kQGh-nkos

Chuck Norris counted to infinity, twice.

This agent is x10 more powerful and only needed in tiny doses to achieve the result. Although there are some oddities around the whole thing, if its so lethal how comes nobody concerned has actually died yet. Something like 1 part in a million absorbed through the skin can kill you in minutes, how did any exposure results in people getting ill but not dying? Also how comes if it was so dangerous that the guys car was stuck on the back of a flatbed by people wearing jeans and t-shirt so on and so forth. So much of this doesn't add up for me and I am not normally and conspiracy merchant!
