As above everyone says their products are the best, but of course they would otherwise why would they use them But some good practice is most important. Two buckets. MF cloths ideally edgeless and remove any washing labels that are attached to them. Don't wash in direct sunlight. You want as little dragging across the paint as possible. Make good use of snow foams if possible. Etc. For the inside of the exhaust its slightly easier on my car as I can put my hand inside it comfortably but I generally clean it with a soft brush with shampoo then finish it with a cloth and metal polish. Doesn't stay clean for very long though!

I remember it clearly! Shilton sheparding the ball without realising the italian player was behind him... Other than that one, can anyone genuinely remember another one?

You are not looking at what experience brings to the game overall in the right way though - you can have inexperienced players like Mbappe play well, but they need experienced players around them to perform to that level, Greizmann has been there done it in many competitions and must be brilliant to have him in your ear as a 19 year old all match helping you through it. We didn't have enough experience to carry the less experienced players on to that next level they needed last night when things were going against us, that was obvious. Kane is our captain but still a relative novice when you look at the career of someone like Modric or Mandzukic. Greece won the Euros with a lack of quality, so did Denmark, they won the competition through excelling in other attributes. Very rarely do teams have all the attributes perfectly aligned, thinking only teams like Spain late 2000s and 70s Brazil otherwise teams win based on outstanding quality, or outstanding individuals, outstanding team work so on and so forth. This England team can only get better...we should be excited about it.

You mean the one right at the end of the first half? That was VAR'd as the ref walked off the pitch - because you don't see a big 'moment' of players standing there waiting doesn't mean it's not VAR'd. I think ultimately experience counted and a lack of depth in the England team counted against them. Alli and Lingard were not performing but there was a lack of options off the bench. Dier and Hendo in the same team has always been a disaster so can see why he resisted that. Alli especially is carried by the other 9 outfield players in most matches when playing out and out central midfield and only gets game time due to his league form. Personally I think the future is bright, joint youngest team at the tournament, England are current U-17 and U-20 world champions. If these players can come through at good clubs and get game time we should expect more examples of England finishing in QFs and SFs.

I think that was less clear cut and they did VAR it, Croatia did the same on Maguire at one of our corners. What Croatia did well was use their foul count efficiently, when England did look like breaking in came a body check or the like to break it all down and with the ref keeping cards in his pocket just meant the tactic could continue, and any advantage of pace in the England team was reduced. The Lovren foul on Kane on the halfway line when Kane was breaking and he ignored the ball, body checked him and didn't receive a yellow set the tone really for why we couldnt hit as hard on the break as we would have liked.

Unfortunately its in the English DNA to more readily accept failure than to give credit to success That match on Saturday is such a waste of time, no idea why its even played. Can anyone even remember any 3rd placed play off winners from previous world cups?

I would disagree it was on balance fairly even over 90 mins. Kane should have finished from the same position Croatia got their second and hit the post with the follow up (VAR would have shown that the offside call was wrong and any goal would have stood) and Stones had a header off the line. Extra time first 20 were Croatia and last 10 were England's. First Croatia goal was debatable, a foot that high was dangerous play and anywhere else on the pitch and it's a stonewall free kick. The Kane miss was pivotal as England would have seen out Croatia second half at 2-0 up. Stones went to sleep for the second goal, just walking out whilst the ball was still active in the box was bizarre. But they have done amazingly well. 28 other teams didn't get as far as England who were highly tipped to fail much earlier in the tournament, no other British teams even made it to the tournament. There are always the doom merchants moaning about opposition and basically anything that will take away any credit to the team but forget that the much lauded 1990 team only had to beat Belgium and Cameroon to get to their semi final (not to mention it was a set piece goal against Belgium and two penalties against Cameroon). As for the final, its hard to look past France at the moment with Mbappe really coming on song. It will no doubt take a fair bit of luck for Croatia to win (as well as some more generous refereeing, how Rebic stayed on the pitch last night I will never know) but luck can go with any team.

Huh? Set pieces are not open play, I'm not sure how you derived that definition? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Set_piece_(football) And yes, was a bit of a pop, whilst slightly inebriated, for which I apologise...

Because the aviation industry is on its backside and if the government whacked it now it would fall apart - motorists however can continue to take the hit, pay more. First thing I would be doing if I were genuinely looking to sort out city pollution is EVing buses and taxis

Exactly. Cash cows, money talks. We have the ULEZ coming in a couple of years which will be justified with environmental arguments (TBF which they are good arguments) but then at the same time they are building another runway at an airport in a densely populated part of west London housing 2m people but the environment argument conveniently goes away for that discussion.

Absolutely, they are all at it, its a case of when they get caught/whistle blown. There is no way an industry has progressed as it has, without each of the main manufacturers having spoken to each other about it and/or senior people moving from one company to another with this information.

It's so annoying England scoring goals from set pieces instead of open play - its holding them back so much, how can they possibly win games like that...

Hi all, a slightly different advert than usual - to give some background before I go into detail of the car. A long term friend of mine has a friend who is going through some very serious health challenges to the point that he is beginning to get his affairs in order. He asked my friend to sell his beloved 350z for him, so my friend asked if it could be put here knowing that I am part of this community. I hope people understand this is an exceptional circumstance in terms of selling on the forum. If you are interested in the car please PM me and I will put you in touch with my friend who is selling the car. On to the car itself, my friend Martin has sent me some text plus photos - the car is pretty much stock and he has been very transparent in terms of any issues he has observed on the car. "Selling on behalf of a friend who is going through some significant medical treatment, he has asked for offers in the region of £7,500. He’s happy to meet with any potential owner but due to his declining health asked for help in marketing the car and arranging viewing inspections. Car located in Norton, Stockton-on-Tees. 56 Plate (registered Oct 2006) Supplying dealer - Ames Nissan in Thetford, Norfolk 01842 764467. Current mileage – 45017 MOT expires 13th May 2019 Mileage history taken from Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency document MOT carried out 13th May 2018 – 44,757 MOT carried out 27th March 2017 – 43,824 MOT carried out 15th February 2016 – 42,257 MOT carried out 3rd October 2010 – 38,286 Service History is limited – 16th February 2016 : Auto-Repair Garage Ltd, Thorney, Bucks. Oil and air filters changed, oil changed, new spark plug. 42,257 miles. 23rd September 2009 : Yeomans Nissan, Bognor. P2 Service plus anti freeze. 26,288 miles. 7th May 2009 : Yeomans Nissan, Bognor. P1 Service. 18,514 miles. There maybe more service history however the service book is missing. The car drives well. There is a slight noise from the exhaust suggesting it might be holed. There are a few small marks and chips, nothing unusual for a 12 year old car, no evidence of rust. The driver’s seat side squab is very worn, but not the passenger’s. Back tyres replaced May 2018, front tyres in good condition. The outer fabric on the hood is torn on both sides of the car above the door handles, possibly due to the fabric being too tight, the hood is waterproof and the electric operation works well."

They won't face better than colombia until the final...I have no problem with the team not scoring from open play at all not every team can carve open chances like a 70s Brazilian team. It's a results sport nothing is given for style. If we keep winning free kicks penalties corners etc that result in goals we are the envy of many teams in that respect.

As above, if you watch the match back the England team worked very hard at closing them down and suppressing their passing game. They disconnected their defence from the rest of the team so they couldn't work the ball out from the back and relied on long balls into the forwards who couldn't beat our back line for pace nor find enough support from their own midfield. It really should be recognised how well England did in terms of breaking them down often winning the ball back in their half (often a sign of the high press). Lets not forget Colombia are highly thought of as a footballing team, in qualifying they only finished 1 point behind Argentina and 4 points behind Uruguay in an 18 match qualification group with third best defence in the qualification, they are no mugs and should not be seen as some sort of third world team. It was a great test for England as it is an inexperienced side lacking tournament game time, a young team, led by a relatively inexperienced manager. They came through it well. Anything they get beyond now is certainly a bonus.

Proportions on the Senna look wrong in that photo, the bodywork looks massive compared to the wheels. The Valkyrie looks fantastic!

I actually think England simply pressed them so well that they couldn't play out from the back, when they did play balls into feet up the field they couldn't get up to support the attack in time and we dispossessed them easily - we simply didn't give them the time or space that the likes of Poland did. The mistake was bringing Dier in alongside Henderson as we instantly lost that forward momentum and invited them onto us. But the behaviour was a disgrace, you shouldn't have to wait 3 minutes to take a penalty whilst the opposition hound the referee. And the coach bumping Sterling as he left the pitch, he should receive some sort of touchline ban and have something on his record. FIFA wont act though.

Wow, emotional roller coaster! Well done the lads its coming home

I wish I could! Back then it was all recorded on VHS cassettes still!

Yes I suspect Paddy said it was the rev up and had added a bonnet and the dealer just jumped to a different conclusion? Dealer got it partially right i.e. its a rev up, but not because of the bonnet

I also got interviewed on Sky Sports before the England Denmark game in 2002. Was in the Famous 3 Kings in West Kensington and Sky had a team there, the game started at 10am or something and we arrived in the pub at 5am to start boozing along with a fry up! The Sky reporters walked around and asked for volunteers to do an interview before the game no one would so I just went for it. We rehearsed it at around 9am but by the time it was pre-kick off the beers had their effect and I forgot everything we were going to say so winged it - I predicted the final score and that Owen would break his tournament duck and score. After the match the reporter came back over to re-interview me for my brilliant prediction but it was carnage, about 10 of my mates jumped in and threw a St Georges flag around her and she got mobbed as they cut straight back to the studio

Hmmm for me 1990 was pretty special from an England perspective, the game against Cameroon was epic as they were rampaging through games. Also being played in Italy the Italian games were full of emotion. Baggio was in amazing form at the time and was gunning for glory...the final itself though was such a shame. I also remember 2002 being a good world cup, really enjoyable. I think this one has offered something different in terms of the failure of historically bigger teams to play well, so overall I would say the overall level is down on previous tournaments but it has made for more competitive matches and a few upsets.

I would agree, it suits the car it is on but it does look like what it is, which is a home made bolt together which hasn't quite been machined to the right size.

Good spot, the HR engine looks like this... Dealer clearly has no idea what they are talking about and probably listened to whoever chopped it in and got done!
