Its because I dont care, I am not writing for a national newspaper here

God damn! It was speaking only fortunately. Actually, I am pretty sure you don't have three question marks at the end of a question? Also without a space between the last work and said question mark

Have a dragon on my right arm, I had it done whilst living in Tokyo which was kinda cool. I got a discount for giving an English lesson to the artists daughter whilst he was working on it!

SOUTH CENTRAL BREAKFAST MEET SUNDAY 14TH APRIL

I am 99% for this too -
With the deal now dead, EU look convinced we are heading to No-Deal exit with no extension or transition period - I guess now is the time to see how the ERG have planned for this outcome....

Go back to work you lazy so and so...!

It's not a simple subtraction and addition though the status quo does not remain in place. The obvious difference is that we will be out of Europe, that has a lot of implications at a financial level for the country a lot of which are not positive ones. We will also still have to pay to leave as we have contractual obligations to the projects we were involved in and walking away from, so in the short term we are going to not see some sort of windfall.

Heres another good one - spoke to Greenlight (and they seemed a pleasant bunch to be fair) but cannot insure me on the VX220 because my last car was four wheel drive and I don't have experience driving rear wheel drive cars I mentioned the 320bhp rear wheel drive Skyline I had before the Celica, and the rear wheel drive VX220 I had before that and the 350z of course...but apparently that doesn't count as it has to be the last car I owned has to be rear wheel drive. But apparently as I had the Celica for so long (4 years) I am not experienced in driving a rear wheel drive car. Also ignoring any cross European road trips I have done without incident. Jesus wept what is the world coming to.

I totally agree, as I said from a business perspective why wouldn't you? Although you can't broad brush it with 'retail' as things like grocers for instance run on profit margins of 1%-4% so hardly milking the public and anything more you would have government intervention to prevent the large grocers using an essential like food to profiteer. What I have an issue with is a company not offering to give me an official quote because of concerns I am going to use it to get the best quote I can - when the insurance industry has created the behaviour themselves. It's quite frankly a laughable policy especially when on the phone I am the one being made out to be the person being unreasonable in asking for it. Just to add to the hilarity they asked me what my best quote was and said the policy would only be verified if I supplied evidence of the quote they aimed to beat

Pretty sure I have stayed with the same underwriter two years running and managed to reduce my renewal though, in fact since 2010 I think I have only had two different ones with renewal prices all over the shop. I would argue it is quite simple, broker adds some cream to the top and hopes to get away with it knowing if challenged they have somewhere to move down to in an attempt to retain the customer. Don't get me wrong, I get it makes sense from a business perspective, the thing that really boils my xxxx is when insurers come up with stupid comments like not emailing quotes to prevent people shopping around BUT its their own corporate behaviour in the industry that has created this customer behaviour - all insurance companies are complicit in this and have brought it upon themselves, its pathetic that they then try and push the guilt onto the customer.
-
I would suggest that enough people just allow the renewal to go through that it makes it worth their while. The whole thing is a cowboy show though, I recently was hunting around for quotes and spoke to an well known specialist insurer who gave me a quote but wouldn't send me an email confirming it as they didn't want me using it to negotiate better quotes elsewhere. The joke is that insurance companies are forcing customers to do this because of their own high new/renewal quote approach to customers. I was made to feel I was trying to play them, but I am only doing this because they force me to do this due to unfair new/renewal pricing. They have brought this behaviour upon themselves, but apparently its not fair customers try to get the best deal

Welcome along. Essentially for the 350z there are two trims GT and Non-GT (one has cruise, BOSE etc) and three different versions DE, DE REVUP and HR. These have slightly increased power outputs and a facelift in 2006ish (guys help me out here). Thats all you need to know really for UK cars, if you are looking at imports then there are more variations of spec, dont be frightened of these they can be had at a bargain if you do your homework. https://www.350z-uk.com/forum/18-350z-faq/

Given the indicative voting that happened this evening though how likely is any of that happening?

Yes Mr Pie is a made up character been on the Tube for a couple of years now. Brexit was part of his act but he also waded in to stuff like Grenfell per quote 'I bet the new £20m refurb of Buck Palace has a sprinkler system' or something along those lines. He is a good watch though he does shout out the bleedin obvious that gets lost in rhetoric.

Stats and Economics degree mate...its drilled into you The devil is in the detail!

I think usual good practice is to cover any fuse boxes/wiring etc. where possible. You engine bay will experience water coming into it when you drive in the wet but its worth being a little careful.

The carsalesbase website which is reasonably reliable hasnt udpated February yet but shows BMW 3 series selling 6872 cars in January so it must have seen a big chunk eaten out of that with people moving to Tesla? Audi A/S/RS 4 sold 7608 cars in January too, so again be interesting to see what happened in Feb. Last two years has shown historically car sales for this sector dip around 10% Jan > Feb then shoot back up in March. But for the BMW3 and Audi4 to have dropped by over 50% to below the claimed 3657 Teslas sold. I had a quick look at the source of the info and its coming from a website called JATO, the article above just lifts a bit of the full blog post on JATO but in there it claims the segment the Series 3 operates in sold 11800 cars in total in February which just seems really odd given there were nearly 15000 BMW 3 series & A4s sold the month before before you roll in all the other manufacturers like VW, Alfa, Mercedes, Skoda etc. Notably I cannot find anywhere on the JATO site the actual figures of what cars were included in the 11800 sales group they are referring to that the Series 3 topped. I think its more of a case of waiting till some public info comes along that we can properly look at.

Generally I find buzzing is a grounding issue but am no expert as I say! -

To be quite frank, what did leavers expect? Remainers to just shrug their shoulders and just say well done and let it run its course? If Remain had won, would UKIP and Farage have disbanded and said 'well we gave it our best shot' or would they have been on every political platform banging on about the UK still finding a way to leave the EU - you would be fool to think not. The way I see it is: 1. There was a deep divide in the country about immigration and the EU, enough that people had sufficient numbers to vote leave 2. There was enough apathy in remainers that many didnt vote (the young vote) that are now bringing their voice to the debate (but all a bit too late) 3. There was a better machine in play for the leave campaign that was strong enough to convince the electorate that leaving would be easy 4. There is not enough coverage in the media of information sources that tell you the facts i.e. the cost per week of EU membership was easily shown to be false looking at publicly available treasury accounts yet the story ran for weeks 5. Politicians saw the opportunity to further their career, be it Boris or Gove or otherwise some have done better than others, their concerns were not about people less well off than themselves 6. The hard reality of a smaller economy negotiating with an experienced economic bloc has played out as expected but leavers seem to think we are being 'bullied' which drives even further hatred of the EU 7. Groups like the ERG obstruct progress but offer no viable alternative 8. May was stupid to call the GE, stupid in her tactics in it, stupid at failing to connect with voters through debates etc. and has left the government with no means to make things happen in what is one of the most divisive parliaments in decades both Labour and the Tories are miles away from the centre
