  1. Excellent work there, I have just purchased two black Z badges and a black 350Z badge so was wondering what they looked like on a black car. I was though wondering, I might put the '350Z' badge not on the left but on the main bodywork below the rear Z badge to make it all very symetrical, what do people think?
  2. iphone holder + cassette to iPhone adapter = £18, good deal!
  3. Daft question to the educated on here...but as a 3 week old owner need to know. Got 6 spoke alloys, need new tyres, if I get a set that fit the standard alloys would they fit fine on a set of Rays if I got a set further down the line?
  4. I am not sure am I using it right, if I go to the box top right with the magnifying glass, type in something like JWT which I have seen in plenty of posts it returns no matches?
  5. Copy all your music onto an ipod, buy a holder which sits on the air vent next to your steering wheel, buy a cassette to ipod adaptor, plug it all in, bingo. Total cost = £18 Works a treat for me.
  6. Good work fella, that first few weeks of driving is just a dream isn't it I'm still loving every minute in mine three weeks in...
  7. Not got Rays, just the standard 6 spokes (look on the avatar picture). You have Rays for sale with tyres on or just the tyres?

    Words fail me

In the Metro this morning, read this, I think the police need to be investigating how much over 100mph he was going when he totalled it. Dad probably was wondering which of the Gumperts he trashed...was it the yellow one or the other one?
  9. I do like to see myself as some sort of Brute aftershave model that middleaged women just can't resist, then I go inside strip off my top in true advertising style over my head by pulling it up and inside out from the bottom only to reveal a hairy slightly round guy who would be a welcome addition to any boot camp workout session
  10. Wife just calls, im in the office which overlooks the M4, she says "look out the window at the road" - so i do and my Zed cruises by with her driving it. I simply said "put the phone down and concentrate on the road woman!" - although kudos for the thought.
  11. When washing during the day I do seem to attract the attention of 30 something women walking along with kids who seem to like to stop for a chat...
  12. I am changing the Nissan badges front and back to Z badges...does that count?
  13. Stuck my Astra on AutoTrader, Pistonheads, gumtree and an Astra forum. I got interest from the Forum, Gumtree and Pistonheads - it was the Pistonheads ad that finally sold it. AutoTrader I have used to try sell cars before and it's pretty useless, never had a viewing using that. Had a Corsa before the Astra and sold it via Gumtree.
  14. I live on a main road, all my car cleaning done using buckets carried from my house to the side road where the car is parked down, plenty of elbow grease and infinite patience.
  15. I clean my car every week, without fail. I have made lots of new friends this way...I now know that the landlord of the property on the corner of our road is from Hong Kong, very rich but is getting fleeced by Foxtons. That a guy living next door to that place is called Ben, rides a GXR, is from New Zealand and is planning on going back in the Autumn. Also that there are some very well spoken middle aged women who like looking at my gleaming engine bay and always seemed confused when I am checking the oil often asking what 'that stick is'...
  16. I actually didn't mean the thread to go in this direction, although should have seen it coming She drove the front bumper into the kerb the other night during a three point turn, think it caught the plastic part underneath so no visibile damage. Her friend who was in the car with her also apparently got a bit of a shock from the impact! It's quite funny because she comes in with 'that look' like she has done something wrong I don't ask anymore!
  17. Thought that might be the case. Getting the clicky axle fixed this weekend (part enroute courtesy of Alex) so will stump up more money in May for some decent grip. Then I can start buying some fun stuff
  18. Sorry mate, my family are in the car trade and its a special deal price just for me
  19. +1 on the job description, I was pricing up the Z on Admiral and I put in 'Office/Director' as a job description and got a quote, I actually used the wrong thing as when I reviewed the quote I found Research Consultant which is spot on so I changed it and it knocked about £300 off!
  20. Insurance companies are very clued up, they run financial programs using stats based on age, gender, accident likelihood etc and price accordingly. By all accounts they are still not making enough money I read in the news, some premiums have gone up 40% for younger drivers this year. Although, female drivers will lose their femalability benefits regarding insurance in December when insurance companies will not be allowed to price using gender as a factor.
  21. Need to replace the tyres next month, got a fairly good deal on some 452's at circa £400 for a full set on standard 18" alloys. Saw a post on here from someone considering part worn tyres, wondered if anyone has any going that might tempt to to save myself a few quid.
