  1. Ha yeah forgot that, its flat because I can see the horizon is flat when standing on the beach, completely irrefutable evidence.
  2. First one ever seen, amazing apparently everything Einstein theorised has played out as expected which is incredible in itself. Obviously scientists will scrutinise it over the coming months but looks like they have it, fantastic. Of course will have to put up with the conspiracy theorists to rock up and say its fake news or whatever... https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-47873592
  3. Is it peeling off? Looks like its been rubbed with a scouring pad or something!
  4. Its a vinyl material that is literally wrapped over the car. Go to you tube and type in car wrap and you will see examples. Cheaper and quicker than stripping back a car, priming painting etc. Longevity wise some come with 10 year guarantees I think.
  5. " My engine just blew up minutes after buying the car " " Welcome along! " But yes welcome along, there are a few specialists on here who could possibly supply engines (zmanalex whats your garage looking like?) or advise on rebuilds check the knowledgeable traders section also.
  6. 1. andy James- White Horse Full English 2. Humpy - White Horse full english 3. StormWhite -White Horse Full English 4. Beb - White Horse full English 5. coldel - Eggs Benedict PS, can we arrive prior to 10:30 to mill about in the car park looking at cars?
  7. Can often get dust in the seat switches which causes problems - I found tapping mine lightly with a hammer cleared it but do try clear out that area best you can see if that helps. Cannot help on the leather issue, not heard of that before.
  8. Will it be a case of finding a pub to open early for us? Looking at a google search nearly all pubs in the area open at midday on Sunday?

  10. Given the cars I have had over the last few years in terms of head turning I would rate in order as such: 4th place Celica GT-Four: Got the occasional glance but mostly I think people thought it was a chaved up Focus or something 3rd place 350z: "Nice Porsche" mentioned more than once, but often admired by fuel station attendants 2nd place R33: Much more attention, from a chap in Milton Keynes stopping me in a car park and asking for his photo next to it to just about every Fiesta owner wanting to race it 1st place VX220: People point, a lot, often confused. But it is relentless I cannot park in a car park or sit in traffic without someone commenting, especially with the roof off. When I had the red one a chap came up to me when I was polishing it to say how much he liked my Ferrari
  11. Yes the HR is not requiring the plenum spacer like previous iterations but exhaust and cats are hugely restrictive and will contribute the most to improved gains and drivability.
  12. I am thinking black interior with blue stitching still. Someone on the forum mocked this up for me, so something like this with subtle blue stitching. In other news, Stubby added in place of bee-sting aerial
  13. Definitely, there are companies that rely on vulnerable people to not know how to challenge (and indeed its not in the nature of Brits to do so!) unfair pricing.
  14. You might also want to look at your breathing mods before a map, its an NA engine so the map without mods will give nominal returns, unless you want the map just to make noises then of course carry on. Have a read here https://h-dev.co.uk/350z-tuning-guide/?v=79cba1185463 - of course the bhp gain is just for pub chatter as its peak BHP you dont have that across the whole rev range (the average is probably less than half that), but you should see a better curve for drivability.
  15. Its exactly why no customer out there should have loyalty to a particular insurer nor feel guilty if you play one off against another, they have an almost cowboy approach to pricing and will often prey on those less likely to be able to know how to deal with unfair pricing such as the elderly.
  16. Bright red on a blue car?
  17. Its going to be the bestist stereo system on any zed!
  18. Looking forwards to seeing the outcome of this, bonkers that it is still doing it. Have you replaced all the wiring yet?!
  19. Totally, and the consumer behaviour they see where people use comparison websites and hunt around for prices has been self-perpetuating, they have created this behaviour themselves by being far too untrustworthy with their renewals. They have created this industry behaviour themselves, only themselves to blame.
  20. Ha knew you would say that apparently the actual colour name is 'biscuit' although my neighbour commented the other day on my 'tan interior' - Tan sounds worse than brown or biscuit!
  21. So got a great quote from AIB then went to cancel my renewal and lo-and-behold they can now smash that great quote I got. Using the same underwriter. It was a reduction of around 20% on the renewal premium which means that was all padding they just threw on to their normal margins in the hope to get away with an easy renewal and more money in the Friday drinks pot
  22. I am hoping to swap, but also tempted to go for a reupholster to something unique that I design. The leather itself is in very good condition though, so would probably prefer for now to swap. I have also just purchased an interior carpet set which will cover a lot of the exposed metal in the footwell and sides.
  23. Language is not about grammar it’s about making yourself understood But yes tattoos...of which I am happy about my one and sticking on that!
