  1. I bought the car about 6 weeks ago and it had almost no tread left on the tyres, be interesting to see how the Z handles with proper wheels and tyres on!
  2. ...the wife isn't too pleased but I am very happy Shame I only got two, the other two are having the lacquer touched up and will be ready next Weds - absolutely itching to get them on!
  3. If you wanted to be picky then you should have mentioned the Z falling off the back of the car Only joking pal, nice looking car, love it when silvers and GMs are properly cleaned up like that

    Scorpion

I'm guessing with the price as it is its taking a $ cost and converting to £ so you may have to fork out for shipping from the US? Contact Tarmac on here who can sort you out a Scorpion hassle free.
  5. Thanks I will do. I just don't know where to get a white one from maybe ill have to change my colour preference. Plenty of Silver Zeds down at the £6k-£7k mark, and RT Performance on here are doing some discounts on wrapping have a chat with them about wrapping it. I popped in there the other day and Tarras had a white matte wrap on his Zed which looked and felt stunning. Where are these zeds for sale around 6k? I haven't seen any? Also how much do you think it would cost to wrap a zed? Thanks! http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/list.asp?s=299&dist=10&pc=&min=&max=6501&y1=&y2=&txt=&px=&filter=TP&o=p&Submit=Search A few kicking around here. Mostly imports but if you only want to spend £6k-£7k thats what you will get. I think RT Performance were looking at something like £800/£900 to wrap a car, check with them drop them a PM. I asked a mate once about colours and was it important to him when choosing a car, he quite aptly said "Yes it was very important to me, which in hindsight was a mistake"...
  6. I test drove a car at a dealers before just needed a license...
  7. The amount of times I have seen grammar spelt as grammer when the person writing it is complaining about someone else's grammar.
  8. Next time I'm bored I wont read the online manual! Always a good top gear test, pull away in 3rd and see how fast you can go from standing start without changing gear. Interesting post above about Americans proving that labouring an engine in 6th does less damage than revving the nuts of it at 6500+ - I would therefore conclude that doing neither is the sensible option? I just drive around with my revs never going outside of 1500-5000 revs - simples.
  9. I would think about your target, who will be reading these graphics? As a previous poster said, what's the point of a 0-60 on a car which is not built for speed? When you get to the 370z then by all means put that up. I would focus on what the people that read these infographics want to read, someone wanting a 370z is probably after speed/power/engine specs/options. Someone after a frugal about towner or motorway miler is looking at other attributes like mpg and practicality. On your actual graphic above, too much info on 0-62. I would replace that with interior space (consider using a litres measure for boot space as I think that adds a lot more than just dimensions) - like I say put the most information about the attributes that best sell this type of car.
  10. Thanks I will do. I just don't know where to get a white one from maybe ill have to change my colour preference. 11. DUDE that made me cry!!!! and i'm not squeemish +1
  12. What the Volks or the 20inch rims on the original post?
  13. Well at least you know, and good work on just walking away its easy to convince yourself otherwise. Put a Wanted ad up on this site and you will get a few guys contact you with some very nice examples...
  14. I love the roof coloured like this, just looks fantastic, although not much point doing it on mine...
  15. I managed to wrap my gear surround, it came out very well, then failed miserabley on the rest of the centre console. It just wouldnt stick down, maybe I took too long and the adhesive went. Also when I cut around the cubby hole etc it seemed to leave a bit of a ragged edge which bugged me a bit. Yours looks though!
  16. Its annoying isnt it. I have a hatful of horror stories of incompetent delivery services. Hang in there though, going to be well worth the effort...just dont let it be a paint drying exercise, move away from the window and stop glancing nervously out everytime you hear a van like sound coming down the road!
  17. They are bloody awesome wheels! Heres £20 for your Rays to go towards it rob?
  18. As I say, personally I wouldn't, and £6k is too much - just show him this ad and see if you think you are getting a good deal http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/56-NISSAN-350Z-CONVERTIBLE-DAMAGED-REPAIRABLE-SALVAGE-/170633862705?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item27ba921e31 Plenty of good straight cars around which are down in the £7.5k mark - have a browse on the Zeds For Sale section on here to get an idea of prices.
  19. RAC etc will give it a good going over for you, but really its the chassis you need to get looked at to check for any cracks or warping. Like the guy said its your money, could be a bargain
  20. You just don't know what you are getting mate. There are a few posts on here if you search through for the pros n cons. Obviously it is much cheaper but it's still £6k which in most peoples books is a fair wodge of money. Plus come resale time you will find a lot of people turning their nose up at it. You should be able to get a decent import 03 car for around £7k-£8k can you stretch that far? I for one would rather have a higher mileage car with no accident history than a damaged one with low mileage.
  21. Start a new thread, then take abuse for 'not using the search option'
  22. Lost out to a set of RR ones on ebay - looking for used ones as well, not keen to splash out circa £900 for new ones...
  23. Just lost out to a set on ebay So looking for a set of these to go on my Z - any colour considered. Cheers Col
