  1. I use Autoglym leather balm, but worth bearing in mind that just maintains the leather - if it has already deteriorated then you need a repair kit. See this thread, its fifty quid for the kit and completely changes the interior - before and after photos halfway down the thread. Very easy to do as well. http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=53&t=51015&hilit=coldel+leather
  2. They are well trained, my cousin went through months of physical training, including dispersal tactics and taking down these types. Even a group of 300 rioters could be properly put away by a smaller well organized police riot team. He is in Hackney and says he has seen nothing like it, says its lawless.
  3. The numbers are fine, chatting with my cuz at the moment, he is in Hackney and he says there are plenty of officers, problem is they have their hands tied. There is easily enough officers to deal with it, they just need the nod...
  4. As far as I saw it was in just Tottenham, I go out the country for 24 hours and come back to it happening just down the road in Clapham. Seems to be spreading not receding? My cousin is a riot cop, just finished a 28 hour shift in which he spent 7 hours straight in two separate shifts standing there with a shield being pelting with stuff which is only just short of hand grenades. They are under orders to do nothing but contain but no one seems to know how they can do that whilst they are not allowed to do anything - he is seriously considering quitting the job. These people rioting are animals, they do not deserve human rights of any sort, those are reserved for human beings. Utter scum and the whole country should let them know it when they are caught. And on the original post, I agree, the army and rubber bullets = problem solved.
  5. I am speechless Any car that low around my way would be exhaust, front and rear bumper-less within a mile of leaving the front door!
  6. Could you add: Volk Racing GT-V Alloys
  7. I went for two strips of 30x90 The lights are something like 73cm long, so buying the 75cm strip would have been cutting it a bit close, by getting the 90cm stuff it meant more off cuts to do the small lights as well.
  8. I grabbed some off cuts and had a go with them in - actually the easy shape and gap between the lights and the bodywork made applying this stuff a doddle. All done - took about ten minutes.
  9. Sorry Karl mate, someone came and collected these today. Thread can be closed now.
  10. When I was looking online at Admiral etc there seemed to be a limit on the BHP increase, I tested a few scenarios where the BHP increase was below or above something like 5% and the price just catapulted through the roof. It seems small gains are ok, larger ones not so. I stuck a set of Volks alloys on the car which cost me £35 a year more.
  11. OK, done the big set of lights, looking good (especially with the new number plate which has domed black letters) but what about the lower ones, think they need doing too now? Are they easy to remove? Although the FlyEyes instructions say to do it with the lights still on the car it was much easier I found off it and I could really wrap the material right around the edge of the light. Anyways, makes the black Zed look much better I think.
  12. Looking at my car the majority of chips are at the front end of it, not at the back near the windscreen. Guessing that is the reason?
  13. and get your clicky axle repair kit Oh and welcome! Post pics...
  14. Might be because there are more of them about? You have bought a 'relatively' rare car, you will see a dozen Boxsters for every Zed - it has great looks and a thumping V6, enjoy it, don't regret what you bought or how much you paid - I still grin like a cheshire cat everytime I climb behind the wheel. I need to drop some stuff off at the dump in an hour or so, I'm using the Zed, and I can't want to get out there and drive it - even if its to the dump and back!
  15. You haven't made a mistake, take it on an A road, then a motorway, then get it home give it a shine up and drive it through town and take in the admiring glances - then you will know you haven't made a mistake. +1 as above, check out the frequency of 'for sales' vs 'introductions' and also the wording, how many people use this smiley when selling Enjoy the Z experience
  16. Maybe, but not for a week or so. Moving in five days time and currently sorting out the move and I have a stack of job interviews lined up, so no time to be boxing this up to be sent on am afraid.
  17. Taras mentioned that if and when they get the front bumper replica done he would offer it with this cover, good idea me thinks to put some protection on it if you are going to fork out for a nice front end.
  18. Thanks for the advice on colour Rich, loving it. Managed to do the lower console and interior door grabs myself but failed on the more complex upper console. Looks even better than the mobile phone pictures in reality.
  19. OK, the house clearance continues prior to my move to Windsor. I have had these clubs a few years now, have only seen action on the driving range, at five lessons and approximately 5 rounds of golf. I am terrible, hence selling on. Clubs included are: Irons, 3 through to 9 Sand wedge Pitching wedge Lofted club, also Ram brand Metal woods, graphite shafts, numbers 1, 3 and 5. The number 5 head cover is missing. Two putters, a Zebra Z2 plus the standard one that came with the original kit. Ram Wizard recovery club 21 degree pitch, graphite shaft. 1 Bag, about 30 Dunlop and Top Flite balls, about 20 tees of varying heights, two gloves (large size) and a Ping golf towel. Selling as I am moving, clubs are in great shape having not had much use. Original kit was £150 and I purchased the recovery club, the Z2 putter and lofted club seperately at a cost of circa £100. Basically everything you need if you fancy taking up golf, this was a recommended set for a beginner-average player. Would prefer if it could be collected from Putney before next Wednesday, or from Windsor after that.
  20. Mine will need a service towards the end of this year, bizarrely it is one year behind on the servicing as the car sat in a garage under wraps for 16 months of the first 24 months of its life - the first owner was a naval officer who soon after buying it got shipped off to the Gulf or something. I am I have to say, utterly confused at the whole P2 vs P3 thing. Personally I would prefer my dad do the servicing (having worked on super cars through to minis through to articulated lorries for 45 years) but that doesn't look good on a service stamp, even though the Nissan dealers mechanics are not fit to buff his boots I will still have to go with them if I want to sell it further down the line
  21. +1 My headlights bug me, far too chromey for a black car.
  22. Here is another one a little more close up, the triple gauges are a nightmare so you end up having to cut a bit higher but still looks miles better - very chuffed with the new look and the colour works so well with the head unit which now seems to blend in...btw RTBiscuit sorted me out the vinyl wrap.
  23. Status Quo mate Just my tape>iPod adapter - whipped it out of the tape deck for the 'photoshoot' !
  24. Just a couple of little bits done on the Z yesterday. Taras wrapped the upper centre console for me, I did the lower part around the gear stick but lost patience with the upper part and handed it over to RTPerformance - looks excellent in Satin Black me thinks. Also got my Bosch Aero blades through, everyone gave me funny looks yesterday changing the wiper blades in 30 degrees of heat, not laughing now eh Tried them out and they are a big improvement over the old wipers in both looks and performance.
  25. Yep get them done by chipsaway if poss, I had some scratches on my rear bumper got the whole thing repainted £240 which I thought was a good price.
