Yeah the top of the Z on it would cover the holes I think on the likwid art badge. Not too sure about that black Z on orange burger...I was thinking of ordering some satin silver Zs and spraying the Z black - might look quite nice.

I like the Boxster S badge with the bigger S so was trying to get something like that. The photo doesn't really do it justice, the silver Z sticks out a mile on the photo but in normal light it is more discreet. Also I think i moved the camera slightly so it smudged the Z making it look bigger than it is. Would love the back completely debadged, would need a good bodyshop to do it though.

I am considering that one, its just that I had this one kicking around and thought it would be a good trial run. The more I had the burger on the back the more I disliked it ... the warped badge gave me a good excuse to take it off really.

...I took off my Z badges front and back and resprayed them satin black as they had faded from black when I bought them to a sort of brown colour (ebay cheapies). Front one went back on no problem, back one, well at some point the badge had warped and was out of shape. I had lying around a 350Z badge in chrome, so I did a little spray job on that, removed the now knackered rear badge and put my 350Z on the back in its place. Apologies for the poor light, but I think it has come out pretty well I had to use the sides of the 0 to cover the holes, so maybe it is a few mm out and slightly to the left but I think it works ok.

Had a fair few petrol station attendants ask me what the car is as they couldnt recognise it...

I suddenly noticed whilst down on the coast that I had no coolant in my reservoir! I just grabbed the first one I could find in the garage and dropped a bit in with water to top it up a bit. Doing a service in a couple of weeks so will properly run it through then. Will probably order from Opie Oils as well, some good deals on there at the moment.

Had a kid of oriental origin taking photos of my car from the back seat of his parents car the other day on the motorway - even gave him a thumbs up and a smile as I passed them

Have had a random skinhead fella as it happens approach me in a petrol garage as I sat in the Zed waiting for the wife to come out say to me 'nice car mate nice that!' Drove the car into my new workplace yesterday - we all went to the pub after work for a drink and I had to move the Z - so they were all stood there watching (ok only 7 of them at the office!) and none of them knew what make of car it was (no nissan badges) and thought it looked fantastic. No abuse yet though - well none that I have noticed. Then again I try to avoid driving through chav land etc.

I agree with Alex lets lock it up (as the OP). It doesn't need to get out of hand and I certainly don't have a grudge against anyone on the site. But I was probably as equally shocked at people on here with no interest in the purchase or really having anything to do with it commenting quite aggressively in retrospect. I don't rant at people online and I don't vent at people on threads, you wouldn't speak to others like that in person so no need to do it online - if you don't agree with something others are doing then fine, just leave them to it, they will go to hell and you can book your place in heaven

Just looking above the rants to see where people are taking the pi$$ and really can't see any evidence of it, just a few people who followed it up politely which they are entitled to do. In actual fact the seller is not within his rights legally to not supply the discs - mistake or no mistake - a fundamental rule of trading is that goods are sold as priced there are many examples of in the news of supermarkets making mistakes and having to honour them on products for sale. Personally, I am not that concerned, I took a punt and I didn't get them, no loss really. If other people want to pursue it, then fine that's their prerogative but to see some of the comments above having a go at people for exercising their consumer rights because it doesn't match up with their own personal principles, that is out of order.

I replied and implied that they were not out of stock at all couldnt resist. Someone should go to their website now under a different guise and order a proper priced set of front brembo brakes for the Z and see if they suddenly have them back in stock!

Yep I got refunded too. Was a typo on their part I bet putting the pads details in instead of the discs, pretty sure they spent all day yesterday figuring out what to do and firing whoever was in charge of putting stuff on ebay! Worth a punt though and no loss on our part.

Mixed views on Allardyce, some fans just immediately associate it with bad football and rant on about how he will ruin west hams style of play...given how badly we have played over the last two seasons I would quite happily have him come in and ruin that! Tomkins, Noble, Collison, Cole etc are all good footballers who can knock it about - they suddenly wont lose that ability just because Sam is there.

Worth saving the money if they are genuine isn't it? If they are not genuine then they are returned and a refund obtained. If they don't fit the car then they are returned and a refund obtained. If they are genuine and they fit then we have ourselves a bargain. Maybe I am over-complicating things but I am pretty sure no one who is giving this a punt will fit them if they aren't genuine and safe to do so.

I agree, was surprised Wenger hasn't strengthened the club sufficiently this year, but there are two days to go he might yet pull a couple of transfers out the bag. I am not so sure about your transfer calculation though, day to day club running, staff costs and the biggie - tax payments - come to multi-millions per month. That would easily soak up all those ticket incomes plus a bit more. Seems to me nowadays player purchases are coming from the pockets of the owners rather than club profits (if such a thing exists anymore!). Clubs are paying out so much on players wages that they are in effect running insolvent, which is why the financial rules are coming into play. Think it would be good for Adams to come back, but having cut his teeth with a few other clubs successfully first and gotten all his coaching qualifications. I find it somewhat frustrating that players seem to get an auto route into coaching with clubs thinking that a playing career automatically creates a good coach.
