  1. ...this time a new air intake, a Stillen to be precise - sounds v good will leave it on the car for a few days see how it runs. Also need to clear up all the mess I made under the bonnet! Have now got a cosworth panel in standard airbox with velocity stack in the boot which may sell if this works out alright.
  2. Not sure...there are plenty of these types of copies on ebay knocking around for about 100 quid - I saw it yesterday and it started at 99p

  4. I pointed manically whilst hysterically saying to my wife there is another black Zed - you very coolly gave a short wave over the top of the steering wheel
  5. I used the missus hairdryer when wrapping my centre console...works fine actually, you just need a bit of patience and make sure you work efficiently as the heat comes out the vinyl pretty quickly. Try you tube searching for examples, have a watch at how other people have done it.
  6. Should be ok to wrap it if you buy some of the Hexis stuff that has just come out - I saw some guys on you tube messing with it you can wrap the stuff around your fist - just needs lots of heat and stretching. What about a respray? Much easier and can be done in gloss black no problem.
  7. Looks good mate, I was thinking of one of those but have stuck with my 350Z badge...
  8. I bumped into a nice fella in Halfords in Slough a few weeks back and recommended this site as he was a drift racer and was after a 350z to race... ...oh and

    Metal pipe

He had a Berks one at about £130, just seemed like a lot of money for a metal pipe...was hoping for something a little further down the price chain.

...connecting the throttle body to the air intake, just picked myself up an open cone intake and think a shiny air toob would suit it nicely. Where can I get one? Seen a few kicking around for about 35 quid on ebay, they worth a go?
  12. Little update... ...forgot to mention the noise to my dad on the weekend when he serviced it, but just this morning I went out and tried the car, noise gone For the service we put in Denso Iridium spark plugs and changed to Gates branded drive belts. Anyway car cured, no more noise. So could have been a belt noise maybe?

    P4 service

OK service done...Started at 8:30 finished at 14:00. Changed the plugs (the ones that came out were badly burnt out!), belts, front pads, oil filter, engine gear and diff oil, cleared out the washer water lines which were blocked. Also found some oil in the 5th spark plug chamber, cleaned it out but needs fixing at some point, put in some oil leak fix fluid as well. Cleaned up various other parts, in 5 hours a good job done and car is definitely running much smoother.

    Good job done...

Well after driving 150 miles and through an absolute torrent of bad weather here is how the C5 is holding up...not bad, have new brake pads in the front as well which may have laid down a huge amount of dust.

    Good job done...

Its not cheap, but it performs admirably and is well worth the £30...just dont drop the bottle because a small spillage doesn't leave you much when its only 15ml!

    Good job done...

Going to have the wheels off tomorrow to clean the insides during its 'super service' ... I tell you when I ultimately sell this car someone is going to get a very well cared for motor - might snap some service photos tomorrow actually.
