..has been smashed clean off by some very considerate driver who left it hanging there and drove off. Before I go trawling ebay, anyone know of someone reputable I can get a replacement from? Its a mk1 focus, electric mirror (mirror intact, just the housing thats smashed), passenger side.

Mate of mine has a Clio and its worked fine with their now 1 year old baby, fitting stuff in no problem. Four doors are easier work though

If you go to a dealership. A Porsche is cheaper to run than a 350z. Parts are cheaper and servicing done by an indie is the same or less. But its not the 350z we are comparing against, its the cost of maintaining an MX5 or the like which are much cheaper.

I used to use Mobil 1, to be honest though if you just bought the car with 60k on the clock or something you have no idea what the previous owners have been sticking in it, they could have been using sawdust and tar for all you know so sticking £100 worth of oil in now is going to make naff all difference. Just go for a known brand fully synth as recommended and you will be fine.

Problem with Porsches is that your £10k turns into £15k including servicing and repairs pretty quickly. If you google woodsport I think it is you will find the MR2 conversion guys.
