  1. no problem attached...I also added the side steps as well which complemented it nicely
  2. Anyone want these cats? Will take £50 collected.
  3. I bought one of these, and they look stunning on the front, also a bonus that they are not lower the clearance on the front either like a lip might so speed bump problems avoided also. You need to drill the holes in the splitter, the trick I found was to take off the plastic deflector thing which is already attached under the front of zed and use that as a template to mark the drill points on the splitter oh and put the metal struts on as well even though its apparently optional, they work well at keeping it straight and taught.
  4. Zed will look MILES better with the grille, its not hard, just cut the slats off
  5. Inconclusive! Dropped mine a few times and its fine even without a cover. Has anyone with 4s upgraded to iOS 6 yet? Got a message today asking me to upgrade...have to say dont want to lose the likes of google maps for apple-we-ballsed-it-up maps...

Sorry these were sold last month
  7. Good choice, we have an 04 focus, service between myself and brother took a couple of hours including tea breaks! Easy to get at plugs, just generally very maintenance friendly car.
  8. Ideal for the track or for winter, Bridgestones with around 3/4mm of tread left, wheels have various marks and kerbing. Only looking for collection no delivery or courier, am in TW10 6DP. £100.
  9. ... 19s all the way, unless you are tanking it around a track there is plenty grip on 19s with decent tyres to keep you on the road, if you go off its more likely driver error than any failing of 10 inch by 19 inch rear wheels - and of course they just look miles better
  10. GLWTS - there are buyers out there, you just need a very good ad and good clear photos, I managed to shift my car at a premium very quickly despite the doubters so it is doable. I think the only concern is as raised in the tyres, most guys on here will pick you up on it (in fact most car savvy people should) but your average auto trader browser will probably only check the brand and not realise that the rears have x5 the amount of grip than the fronts. I did notice last year though as winter encroaches, demand drops and prices drop, so do bear that in mind that the longer you hold out for your price now, the fewer buyers your will have later in the year and the more choice they will have, worth bearing in mind.
  11. The paypal thing could be a number of things, they could send you a payment of £0.00 and say that when you hand the car over to the transport company they will release the funds. Another is that they overpay you, and ask you to pay the transport company direct the difference you owe them, then they withdraw back whats left of the balance from your paypal account (apparently this can be done) and your cash disappears off to a scam transport company. Etc etc Problem is, now you have given bank details, address and email address, you will be on a scam list and get pestered by them trying to sucker you into parting with your cash, so let your bank know and and be aware of more emails.
  12. I always have some bizarre mental image of a big boiling pot of carbon which you precariously dip bits of Zeds into when you say something like that Rich!
  13. My heart says go for it - my brain says otherwise. A broke country, no money, government have a policy in place for fuel to raise funds, remove some of that and the money comes from somewhere else, income tax maybe, so lets put that up they say. Or it could be VAT, or they will put up VED, or it could be a tax on food, the list goes on but ultimately you will pay for any money saved on fuel, you just wont realise it. I remember the cheers and the 'up yours' to banks when charges for letters sent to customers could no longer be charged at £15, shortly afterwards current accounts were suddenly £5 per month, the banks were not out of pocket, they simply recouped it in a different way, they had to otherwise their business model would collapse along with your savings. Oh the futility of it all
  14. Nope, will be coming along in the baby-mobile (ford focus) if I come along - would be good to catch up with some of the people on here and have a chin wag and check out some Zeds really!
  15. Yeah not bad, been very busy of late what with the career change to teaching - standing up in front of global brands board members to predict their sales, easy, teaching maths to 13 year olds, terrifying seriously! Happy I made the change though Hope to get along to a few meets again once the dust settles.
  16. Bought a few things off their website a while back and automatically came onto their mailing list, anyway, got an email through that says for the next week if you put in LOYALTY10 as a discount code you get 10% off, if you spend over £29.95 (using the code) you get upgraded to next day delivery for free as well. Just thought would let you know Col
  17. Or just drive round to Ians place and watch the magic!
  18. ...and top it up with dodo supernatural wax, you can get a small pot on eBay for about 15 quid.
  19. I feel your pain mate - first viewer bought mine too - it has left a hole in my motoring life that needs filling sooner rather than later!
  20. ...this seems to be doing the rounds on a few sports car forums, if you are in the Huddersfield area might be worth an hour of your time. http://bbs.scoobynet.com/scoobynet-general-1/947972-losing-my-son-please-help.html
  21. It is true, lived there for a couple of years and most cars have scrapes on bumpers - their argument is that there is hardly any space to park, so make the most of what space you have!
  22. ...dont park the Zed in public http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WJEOHGCo2I4
