  1. Or when you realise you are dealing with someone who literally has no intention of considering anything anyone says that doesn't comply with your point of view, so making debate moot. You leap to so many incorrect personal assumptions that it has kind of made the point of debate tiresome and I don't have the energy to keep pointing them out. You are not right, neither am I, we both simply have a point of view. However You think the point of the debate is to be right and to convince me I am wrong whilst I am simply citing my reasons for not voting for Corbyn. You cannot discern the difference. Therefore I have ceased bothering to debate it with you. This is clearly illustrated in your 'haha I have won' comment above.
  2. ...and there you go, honestly, you need to go back, read it, and if you cannot see it, seek professional help. Although you might not find the right people who will just agree with you and massage that over inflated and confused ego.
  3. Who said I was Tory? Like many other posts, your arguments start off with incorrect assumptions which makes what follows just pointless. if you want to blindly believe every aspect of a video posted on a political site then knock yourself out. However, I am genuinely concerned that you struggle so much with someone having a differing opinion to yourself and resorting to belittlement/crap videos or the like, it really does make you look rather petty and takes a lot away from the strength of your side of the debate. Someone doesn't agree with you, get over it. I get you don't like my side of the debate. I am sure there are some positives to nationalising everything, but they do not in my opinion (and given I have experienced both here in the UK - which again lets mention you haven't) outweigh the negatives. So there we are.
  4. Thanks Colin, yeah the problem was it seems you have to create the poll when you create the thread, I couldnt go back and edit an existing thread and add a poll in. Anyway, we have this one now, and I cannot seem to edit it to add in an extra response as per the above!
  5. I can't seem to add a poll to the other thread, so thought it might be interesting to see what the 350z voting intentions are for the forthcoming election.
  6. I would find that funny actually like most fictitious comedy, if it wasn't for the real chance that some gullables would actually believe the content. Some people are just so easily led I guess.
  7. Had a good read of your PH post Samoht, nice purchase you have there
  8. Wish I could have made it but it was school fair day! Looks a good meet once again!
  9. And you are stuck in a blinkered mindset that we are only talking about railways. Corbyn wants to nationalise everything at any cost. If you are happy with repeating failed social experiments like this that’s your prerogative. To reconfirm, you did not have to tolerate nationalised services In the UK in reality, that’s correct yes? Because you won’t seem to admit to this. Your problem is you you don’t even understand why some things cost more than others which exist in two separate industries, If you struggle with that then I would advise you go read some more books on the economics of industry. ...and that you seem equally unwilling to listen. ... and yes can’t wait for 27 days of strikes to start on Monday. Lovely.
  10. No. Simply someone that agrees with your point of view. So I take it you never had to put up with the trash that was the rail system in the south east pre-privatisation. Ok glad that’s clarified. Including all the fatal accidents that happened whilst nationalised as well.
  11. Did you use the railways in the 80s? If so, what was your experience? I lived in Paris and used cross European and local trains. ...and let’s not forget part of the railway is currently nationalised, it’s the bit that fails more often than the trains.
  12. Oh and his hero is Karl Marx, so I would read up on that and imagine modern Britain following a similar pattern.
  13. Steering clear of antisemiticism for a bit but his idea to nationalise pretty much anything he can get his hands on - I remember trains pre privatisation, and they were absolutely shocking. They arent great now, but were worse then. Anything putting power back in the hands of unions is going to bring utter drudgery to the services they strangle. He basically wants the country to fund everything from higher education to energy. It will cost hundreds of billions of pounds to even start making a dent in renationalising everything, there is no money for it, additionally there is little I see from him that shows we will service our national debt. His obsession with the tiny minority of high earners that will somehow fund everything by increasing tax rates, by radically taxing inheritance (I mean why should people be allowed to save for their childrens sake - it should be used to buy railways) so on and so forth even a ten year old can do the numbers that show it doesnt add up. Thats how it was in the 70s, just as the economy failed and needed updating, yet despite history showing otherwise, lets go back there? Really?
  14. The manifesto 'promises' are a joke though - 40 hospitals, yes that's actually something like 6 funded and 34 more they are 'having a think about' rather than 40 new hospitals. Corbyn should offer the public a choice, by resigning and giving us someone credible as opposition!
  15. But lets be honest, the great policies are often the ones that never get implemented post election, its the easy ones that do. And rarely do the two attributes happen to be the same thing. And the world changes too fast nowadays, if we slumped into a post Brexit recession you may as well kiss goodbye to most of the manifestos promises anyway.
  16. To be fair, the stripped out track car was the only one with the upgraded T7 heater, we were all sitting in it for a few minutes each to warm up To paraphrase Blackadder, the heater in my car blows at the speed as an asthmatic ant carrying some heavy shopping.

Maybe a new sub forum called 'Other spurious completely unsubstantiated rehashed rubbish off the internet' Rule 1: Please make sure whatever you post has been posted at least 10 times on this forum already, otherwise mods will remove it, we don't want original trustworthy news in this sub forum Rule 2: Please ensure that you include an image proving the story which has been drawn by a currently unemployed Iranian freelancer as categorical proof of the news article in question Rule 3: Please make sure you get really really really excited about the story no matter how absurd the claims are , never let common sense get in the way of a brilliantly nonsensical news article
  18. Even if you take some serious character flaws out, the fact he belives 1970s Britain is the model for a modern society in the 21st century is enough to make you shudder!
  19. Yep all VX220s, the one at the front has a coupe cover over the engine (an aftermarket product offered up by a few companies)
  20. Latest polls have Boris way ahead. Sad times. An institutionalised cheat, liar and morally bankrupt person as PM vs a loony left 1970s anti-semitic nut case vs no other worthy candidate of note. An utter freak show of epic proportions coming up to vote in.
  21. It was an eight car shoot out, there was one of every different type from a Saab engined conversion (which broke down!) to a VXR to a supercharger conversion to a stripped out track car. Mine was the most standard one there aside from the almost standard NA so not expecting to win the 'shoot out' although the journo did say he loved the sounds coming from mine so maybe I am the aural winner
  22. Sorry cant make this Andy, been roped into the school christmas fair, I am in goal for the penalty shoot out stand

Yes funny that, I mean could it be, that all these articles are just a load of old codswallop written up by journos to fill pages.

As the OP is relatively new, I think some leeway is allowed But yes endless threads all based off the same rubbish article by Autocar about 18 months ago - the same article that claimed the Tokyo 2019 show would be showing off the new 400z concept, take a look and let me know if you see it... https://www.tokyo-motorshow.com/en/gallery/photo/01_050_Nissan/index001.html
  25. It was wet. And cold. And windy! But they managed to sneak in pics and a test drive of all the cars! Magazine comes out in January they will also send over hi res photos of my car once the mag comes out which will be great to have.
