  1. Photos of this style were kicking around the internet earlier this year, google Q50 Skyline and various links come up. That 400r badge looks a bit crap, like someones spent 15 quid on ebay for the letter and numbers and stuck it on for a laugh. Plenty of big power 4 door salon cars kicking around nowadays, for me this isn't a Skyline in the coupe 2 door style. All rather uninspiring for me unfortunately.
  2. It is something that happens here, but no where near as often on FB, but FB just encourages people to ask the same questions over and over again because there is no manageable/easy to acces content storage.
  3. Must admit Netflix and Amazon Prime are how I consume TV now, with a splashing of You Tube. I think only Match of the Day is the only programme I watch 'live'
  4. Dan you done it all wrong, do the crisis over a longer period, it gives you more scope to do lots of daft stuff for much longer
  5. I too have had my mid life crisis! Started the decade buying something called a 350z having never really been that interested in cars, this then snowballed into all manner of car purchases! Family life pretty stable, my son arrived in 2012 and he is brilliant. Best thing has been that my wife has seen a correlation between my energy at home and my hobbies, so encourages me to do them in terms of is this it, well still many things to do, I really want a career change from office work to being an actor, I love the stage having spoken at large conferences and the like and am trying to turn that into a different career, lots of years of hard work to come! Friday night is sacrosanct, that's beer nights with my mates... Also for the 10's have suddenly encountered more instances of death and ill health, brings life into perspective. Personally thought I would never walk properly again when I was on crutches with severe arthritis, but was rescued by a great specialist! A year later I did a tough mudder (thanks for the sponsorship guys!) Also had a family member pass due to MND at such a young age - kind of reminds you to make the most of life and never count those chickens.
  6. Yes have to agree on that last point Dan, chasing power numbers as if that defines a car when the car weighs ten tonnes is a sad reflection of the 'mine is bigger than yours' mentality that is all over social media and for older people, during pub chat. The only car I have bought twice, a lightweight B road racing car For me the frustration with social media, bullying online, people that talk like absolute tits online but then are small insignificant cowards when you actually meet them face to face.
  7. Sorry Hugh but DD was and still is one of the all time terrible politicians. To campaign for Brexit, promise the world, fail so miserably in negotiations because he couldn't understand why he couldn't retain parity on exit from the EU and quit in a strop - the guy is a gold class case study to the monumental failure of this country to produce decent leadership over the last 10 years.
  8. Seen this popping up around the internet seems like a good one for here, what do you think the '10s should be remembered for? Smartphones becoming mini computers that have opened up the world to endless information? World leaders in many democratic countries normalising racism, xenophobism and misogyny? The human race becoming on the whole dumber, for example posting meme's on social media and genuinely, really, believing the content to be true? EVs that can do over 200 miles starting to become a viable alternative to ICE for the wealthy? Lewis Hamilton under the radar becoming one of the best F1 drivers of all time? Disney ruining Star Wars? (with the exception of Rogue One which was a masterpiece)
  9. I would also consider the area you live in - back where I grew up that would be gone from the drive within 24 hours
  10. I think its clear that this country is quite happy to vote in politicians that have systematically failed in their previous roles - because I always see in my company people that fail at their roles getting promoted British politics at the moment is very much subject to the Peter Principle, David Davies, half the Tory cabinet and very much Boris Johnson are all case studies to it
  11. You can get four layer breathable covers which will minimise the moisture that collects under it. Your enemy really is the damage the contact between cover and paint that can occur. Clean the car fully, every possible bit of dirt cleaned from it. Tie the cover down securely, if its flapping about in the wind its not only moving against the paint its letting dirt get in under the cover which then acts as an abrasive. All that said, they do work if you do it right, I have used them in the past and had no problems.
  12. Given there are no source's quoted on the article aside from them claiming Nissan have said this is what they are doing, can anyone help me find this official Nissan announcement? I have googled it to death and nothing is coming up aside from these two pictures and the usual gossip sites pushing something about what they think they are...
  13. 'It will be the easiest deal ever done in history' in terms of getting these new trade deals, so we have nothing to worry about
  14. No gamble at all, was saying last few days the guy is unelectable, he was NEVER in a million years going to win that election. Manifesto poorly planned and costed, and himself just a weak looking dithering bang average politician. Does amaze me that we end up in situations like this.
  15. Oh I agree, Corbyn is such a weak option he was never going to rally any sort of opposition. For me the big fail was the Lib Dems, with Labour going out left and the Tories properly out right the centre ground was there for the taking yet they never got their message right. At least the despicable Zac Goldsmith got the boot in our constituency.
  16. Lets see how it pans out when the WA is done early next year then have to face into what comes next, I really don't think people who voted took any time to read about all the other stuff that they need to deal with over the next 5 years.
  17. Well there we have it, no surprise that Tories steamrollered it as dithering Corbyn was never going to be any sort of viable alternative that enough people could get behind. It seems its ok to have a racist misogynist xenophobe in charge in politics nowadays, all you need to do is shout 'get brexit done' and you are over the line!
  18. Labour complete fail no surprise. SNP huge win see a referendum there for Indy ref 2.
  19. Bored at work so messed around with a photo of the VX on a phone app, pretty impressive set of functions given its a free app (LightX)
  20. Ho - Lee - Sheet Tweet has now been deleted, a beautiful fail
  21. Diane Abbotts shoe image is doing the rounds, even made it onto the Daily Fail. Have to say up close it doesn't look photoshopped, if it is it's a pretty good effort
  22. I think DA is beyond most MP's though, so far down the competency list, and I wouldn't care if she wasn't a potential Home Secretary. There are a lot of competent MP's but for some reason they do not get the limelight they deserve.
  23. Seems to be the done thing is to photo your dog in front of a polling station according to social media...
